Tinubu should bring Madam Kemi Adeosun back for us to head Finance Ministry.. he can give Tony Elumelu CBN governor but we need competent hands on deck to move this country forward.

Elumelu is not a bad choice but I think Sanusi Lamido may be a better choice for what Tinubu wants to achieve because of his strong risk management capability, lofty principles and fiscal discipline.

Elumelu is more flamboyant but Tinubu wants lower interest rates, increased availability of credit facility for Nigerians and an end to parallel forex regime with black market rate far higher than official rate and very punitive per the ability of Nigerians and Nigeria to engage in international trading in the universal field of competitive open market pricing.

These are things enemies of Nigeria's progress, making a killing be from how things are, will resist vehemently . For that reason Sanusi is the man in my opinion rather than a Soludo or Elumelu type.

I have said it a million times that Buhari did not fail as people like to simplistically opine because very talented and competent Nigerians existed that Buhari ignored to deploy disasters like Emefiele. Buhari had an agenda I personally think revolves around his desire to be an 'equalizer' to gain some parity for the North.

Indeed his appointees appear weird if one looks at them from the perspective of the talent needed to get the best out of their respective portfolio to the glory of Nigeria.

Looking at Buhari closely though it is obvious some of his weird and underwhelming appointees, like Pantami and Malami, did not get their offices to use elevating Nigeria as best as possible.

I am personally glad Buhari is leaving because his appointees left me dumbfounded and exasperated till I understood PMB's brief to note that merit was not the main basis for appointing disasters like Malami and Emefiele.

Hundred percent correct, I used to literally bang my head against the wall trying to explain to many that is not rocket science to deploy an Agbakoba or Akeredolu type instead of a Malami, as AGF and Minister of justice, if a President is sincere and uncompromising about gaining solutions for a nation's main problems.

It was not nepotism alone driving Buhari if one looks at the likes of ultra-incompetent Emefiele that Buhari abided with stubbornly and refused to sack.

Buhari, to me,wanted morally bankrupt appointees who will be completely unquestioning of what he and Daura etal demanded them to do because of a misguided agenda of using the might, cash and powerful offices of NIgeria to "rehabilitate' the North.

To me Buhari did not fail. He achieved what he wanted to achieve and that will be revealed after he has left office. The money the North has 'moped up' using unprincipled lackeys like Emefiele will shock many.

Things like insisting "no going back on grazing routes" appear insane when Buhari had the golden opportunity to secure technocrats to reform livestock farming in the North to place it alongside the best examples in the world and diversify the income of the region tremendously!!!

Tinubu advised precisely as I suggested here. I.e modernise livestock farming in the North, as they have done in Holland for example, to create employment and many rich, educated and socio-economically productive Northern farmers plus end herdsmen insecurity. What is there to reject in that unless there is a hidden agenda?

Anytime someone avoids very obvious and benefcial choices, even a child can fathom is good and solid, then such smacks of ulterior motives and hidden agendas rather than the foolishness of dismissing Buhari as uneducated, clueless or inept. Buhari is not an unintelligent man. Far from it.
