The senator representing Enugu East senatorial district on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chimaroke Nnamani has blamed his political associates including Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and Governor-Elect, Peter Mbah for his defeat in the Enugu East senatorial election, IGBERETV reports.

Nnamani lost election to Kelvin Chukwu of the Labour Party, LP, for the Enugu East senatorial district seat.

In a series of tweets on Saturday, the former Enugu State governor went on to characterize his estranged “Ebeano political associates” as brainless.

He described the duo of Peter Mbah and Edward Ubosi (speaker of the State House of Assembly) as clueless and illiterate.

Nnamani alleged that they all connived to rig him out during the March 18 rescheduled Enugu East senatorial election.

He lamented that one Uche Ejim, who Nnamani claimed he was paying rent for, helped feed his family and nominated for Local Government chairmanship, limited his total votes to 7000, while giving Labour over 4000 votes.

His tweets read;

By his observations above, Nnamani has actually explained how the fatty governor and his associates rigged Enugu election against LP Governorship candidate. His anger is that the same people refused to rig him in as senator elect for Enugu East.

LP won Enugu North (the heart of Coal City) in governorship election, not PDP as Nnamani claimed.

Go and collect your cheque from Tinubu or continue crying River Niger.

Mumu dey position for SP seat na why him dey lick Tinubu nyash. Murdered his opponent and now he's crying. His boys attention were more on rigging for the Governor and nothing more but I trust the court will do justice to this.
