this matter has been treated before and the court ruled that Obi is a legitimate candidate of Labor Party and its going to stand in this case. Obi Legal team have evidence on polling unit bases, you are just ignorant of the fact.

Eniitankorede:
Many of you are legally illiterate. If you know the law, you will see that their counter argument is very strong and compelling. How can Obi contest election when he was not a member of LP? How can Obi claim irregularities without giving evidence on polling unit basis? Answer those questions based on the law.

Lame dock prayer by the APC. Mümù party.

Since the supreme court once ruled that it's the party's decision to field in the candidates they want, there's no case here of Obi joining labour party before 30 days prior to being the party's flag-bearers.

They ruled that in favour of Lawan, Akpabio, Umahi, etc and others against those who participated and won the party's primary election because their party's change of mind. However, in Obi's case, he even participated in and won the primary election of Labour Party.

APC IS AN EVIL PARTY, CRIMINALITY IS THEIR ORDER.

I agree. However, Peter Obi lost the moment and the movement when he went to the Tribunal to contest the Tinubu victory when it was clear that he was third place. If I were in his shoes it would be more important for me to tend the movement in a manner that will make larger than the Labour Party and transcending party politics. That way, in four years victory would be sure. But he blew it!
Peter Obi himself will know within his heart of heart that that the after-election indecorum of his so-called Obidient movement has damaged whatever is left of his future chance to be President of this country. That infamous Yes Daddy audio clip has put a final nail on his political career. It will come back to hunt him badly.

The case you referenced is not about election, this is asking if the LP followed the laid down rules.

You will soon realise that Tinubu lawyers are playing right. Obi and his headless mob were too late joining the Nigerian presidential elections campaign.

Obi joined LP and under three days he became their presidential candidate. All what Obi did was zero before the Nigerian constitution. Lawyers are truly learned people.

With this manouver any hope for the headless mob.

Go to Court, LP is in Court Already... They wants Tribunal to strike it out..

Does this Implies Fears and Anxiety whatsoever.

Well, When Ambode was Kicked out and they choose SANWO Olu, They keep saying SANWO Olu DESERVES second term because he Performed, When you mentioned that Ambode too Performed now.

The same APC said it is a Party Affair To Choose who they like to Represent them.

LP chooses who they want to Represent them as their Presidential candidate, Is that also not a Party Affair. Why is APC having Headache about Another Party affair... Same they do same they Accuse another Party..

Chat! Nigerian Politicians ..PDP, APC Na Waooo

At the minimum, one would expect some of you to be reasonable and discerning.

A primary school kid should know that it is impossible to conclude an election petition case in three months let alone in a month and half.

Tinubu is our president for the next 4 years at the minimum.
Lol kenya that did that in less than a month are they better than us? You guys should keep deceiving yourselves with religious and ethnic sentiment. Other African countries are getting better than us in terms of moral standards and we are dragging something that is utterly pointless. It is the duty of the judiciary to strengthen there laws and policies buh here you are giving excuses because the petition labour party tendered didnt favour you. Ive never seen a backward country like nigeria ever in my life.

I don't need to read everything said by APC about Obi. One thing I'm sure of is that Obi is not a candidate in the last election so he lacked the capacity to petition any candidate. The Constitution is clear and Obi wasn't a LP member for 30 days before his emergence.

"The Constitution says a candidate should be a member of a political party and be sponsored by that political party. It does not state the timeframe for joining the party. The Electoral Act requires parties to submit their membership register 30 days before primaries.

The Act doesn’t bar admission of new members after submission of the register to the Commission"

I was expecting to see a counter opinion against the suit of PO but it appears to me that APC& Bola Ahmed Tinubu are making a fresh case.

Last last if they deny PO as not been qualified because he didn't meet up with the 30days membership atiku should move on, but food go commot for APC mouth.

You’re the one arguing wrongly, you can’t count when the election was held. You start counting the 180 days from the day the petition was filed. Tribunal will be done in September then the losing party will file appeal at the Supreme Court within 14 days, the 60 days will start counting when the appeal is filed at the Supreme Court.
unfortunately for you and your likes Tinubu will be president from May till December when the Supreme Court will deliver judgement
Wow, so says the Chief Judge of Supreme Court grin grin grin

way too lame, they know from start they got no stand, the only thing Tinubu and APC are good at is the crooked way, either he will bribe or cause confusion, but this time around Norway out for him

In your myopic reasoning APC can’t petition the election tribunal that Obi is not a qualified LP candidate, but Obi can meddle into APC nominations by saying someone is not qualified to run.
Oga that Obi petitioned ApC before the petition closing window of 21 days elapse, they couldn't file a counter petition on or before the day Obi submitted his petition, why did you think Obi waited the last minute to file his own. Bat should file a counter petition to what OBi filed not looking for rubbish that won't fly.
Re: Tinubu: APC Asks Election Tribunal To Dismiss Obi, Lp’s Petition, Gives Reasons by Gman4real(m): 10:23am On Apr 11, 2023
Just as APC said Obi was not a Labour party member 30 days before Labour party primary and shouldn't have contested the Election, is Same way Labour Party is saying that Tinubu is not suppose to contest the Election because he is a drug lord.... Now both parties have to defend this in court. Nobody should call for dismissal of anyone's petition.
Let them all meet in court and battle it out.

I love how this is playing out.

Meanwhile, Buhari better not handover to anyone ooh because this case is far different from what we have been experiencing in other Presidential Election and the Masses were really robbed of their mandate.
If u are active on social media and not sentimental, you will know it's the truth.

APC did not file petition but responded to Obi's petition.
In her response, he can challenge grounds the petitioner raised.
Bat should challenge the petition Obi laid against him not looking for rubbish that won't fly. The 21 day period has elaps a long time ago. BAt should counter Obis drugcase petition he laid against him not some rubbish that won't fly.

Common sense should tell you that the three months I put there is in reference to the period between the election and the swearing-in date. That's Feb to May.
Kindly go back to what you wrote earlier as quoted and show exactly where you stated that you were referring to period between election and swearing-in date.
I think that is a communication lapse.
