Simple question to INEC on the embolden - If FCT is recognized as a state, have you conducted gubernatorial elections in the FCT before? Werey On the issue of Tinubu not winning the FCT, INEC argued that going by the provisions of the 1999 Constitution, “the FCT has the status of a state and ought to be recognised as one of the states of the federation.” Praxtech: |

Praxtech: There is a marked difference between treating FCT as if it's one of the states and calling it the 37th state. It's like saying that treating female children in a family as if they were male to have the same rights and privileges does not make them males. If FCT is the 37th state, then it should have a Governor and the same settings as other states. The constitution should have read that votes must be secured in at least two third of all the 37 states. Then, our children in schools should be told that we now have 37 states. It should also have its capital. APC using lies to defend their theft. I will defeat the best of lawyers on this even though I am not a lawyer. |

DollarMarley247: It's better this way since in the East, 99% of the time they'll vote for the Igbo candidate or someone with Igbo vice. Used to think only the North practiced tribal politics but the East showed us all that when it comes to tribal politics they are number one! Tinubu has broken the barrier of religion, now we know it is possible to contradict religious politics. One day we shall overcome tribal politics as well but not now, right now it is still gbas gbos season! 1 Like |

Why is that Nigerians including lawyers don't respect Supreme court ruling on this matter before in 2008 buhari vs yaradua election yet we are behaving there is no judgment on this FCT 25% before. Only Supreme court can over rule itself since longtime ago. Praxtech: |

Obidients always deceiving themselves. Peter Obi wanted to do wuruwuru to the answer. He is just an opportunist that didn’t plan ahead. How can you join a party just few months to a general election, and you expect to win against formidable opponents like Tinubu and ATIKU? Go back to the drawing board and come back in 8 years time. If you want to quote my post, I would only reply with YES DADDY, THANK YOU DADDY. 1 Like |
