Idiot, since your forefathers lack wisdom, that is called politic , since you have cockroach brain, if Obi won 12 states (FCT) , Tinubu 12 and Atiku 12, If Obi focused on states with high population of voters he would have won, but he put all his lazy ass on Southeast that they don't have electoral value when it comes to votes gathering in Nigeria election, even Atiku that does not do more than 10 states of campaign came second just because they focused on more voters apathy states not confused SE

You are sounding like a broken record, no cohesive speech, no coordination. I don't need a prophet to tell me you are a tout and a thug of agbado kingdom. Continue eating your corn and ewa and don't bother to converse with normal humans.

Did you think only Igbo voted for Obi. I'm not an Igbo Man but I voted my choice. What you are doing now is creating problem for election to come. Maybe our election will be name 2027 Yoruba Election, 2031 Hausa Elections or 2031 igbo elections. It's sweet now because your prefer candidates is declare winner. But time always tell

Why will i think only Igbos voted Peter Obi, i am not that shallow, however where 85% of a tribe constitute fan base it is not out of place to tag that party to that tribe.
In 2015 SW were the determinant of Buhari victory today North were the determinant of Tinubu victory, remove Sw vote Tinubu still won Obi .. that is a reflection of partnership and mutual understanding with the North.
On a national scale Zoning is between North and South, if igbos are waiting for unoppose in south then they aint ready. Presidency is not a GIFT.

Try pronounce "E LU PEE" you subconsciously find yourself using an igbo accent wink no jokes 😂

On the issue of Tinubu not winning the FCT, INEC argued that going by the provisions of the 1999 Constitution, “the FCT has the status of a state and ought to be recognised as one of the states of the federation.”

This even makes it more complicated! If the FCT has assume the status of a state, that's means a candidate must win it by virtue of the word "AND" which includes FCT among the states that must be won grin grin

Re: Tinubu Won Presidential Election - INEC Tells Tribunal by kaludestiny10(m): 10:06am On Apr 12, 2023
From my own understanding of the constitution and from what I read from chapter 6, it states that for one to be qualified for the seat of the president, he or she must have scored 25% of the votes cast in 2/3 of the 36 states and the FCT which can be found in Section 134 subsection 4.
But in section 299 subsection 1, it states that the FCT shall be regarded as any of the 36 states of the federation for governance purposes. Just as we have the governor, house of assembly and the judiciary, the FCT will also have courts, national assembly and the executive. This is what section 299 subsection 1 is trying to explain. INEC is just trying to be mischievous.

mechanics:
Then since FCT has the same status with states, they should just say 37 states and not mentioning FCT alone with other states.
It’s 37 states during national election only!

If FCT isn’t added to states, national elections wouldn’t be holding their at all. But since it’s still Nigerians that are in FCT, that’s why it’s been added..

So, during national elections, we have 37states and once you secure 25% in any 24states among 37states, you’re a winner!

INEC supposed to be neutral and provide all the necessary documents that the opposition parties needed. But here it seems like INEC is backing a particular party. May God help our country.
Nope..

Labor party added INEC among respondents to their petition. Hence why INEC can respond!

If Obi was wise enough, he wasn’t suppose to add INEC..

It's over

Section 299(1) of the Constitution provides that the provisions of the Constitution shall apply to the Federal Capital Territory as if it were one of the states of the Federation. It means that the FCT is the 37th state.

So section 134 of the Constitution which provides that “not less than one-quarter of the votes cast at the election in EACH of at least two-thirds of ALL THE STATES AND the FCT” means 25 states or 24 states plus the FCT. Winning the FCT by a candidate is not compulsory.
. God will bless you today and forever.

What does the Constitution says about getting 25% in the FCT. Dey play
The constitution said did not say you need to have 25% in FCT. The constitution only says whatever votes you have in FCT would be counted and added since it would be treated as a states during national elections..

Can’t you people ask that Ipob lawyer, Emma powerful?

So what if he didn't win Lagos,Abuja and osun? Fact is he got majority votes across the country and it behoves on your headless mob to prove otherwise but up till now you still have no proof and you are just chasing straws at best.

The north has been quite so also the SS because the north win this election for tinubu just as the SW won it for Buhari, also the SS has a higher stake in his victory than the SE......one region against five others who have all accepted the results and are already laying their stakes on moving the country forward, but that one region would rather drag everyone back and won't mind destroying the country.

móron, section 299 is a general provision. It doesn't apply in an election
