Assassins are people contracted to kill for Political/Religious reasons. Before you tell me JW is a gangster and not an assassin, I'd like you to tell me motive for Santino hiring John Wick to kill his sister.

2. Going By Your Analogy, it's safe to say the Characters in John Wick were Assassins and not Gangsters. Apart from the Religious Whatever, the MO of the faceless men and The Characters in JW are not so different. They all operate from the shadows.
If The faceless men are not Gangsters, Nobody in JW is a gangster also

Thieves, Assassins, Mafia, etc are all "Gangs".

1. United in nefarious activities.

2. Have a code which they live by.

3. Have one enemy - the system.

Clam down my lady, obviously, his manner of approach and response (seems una 2 get beef) was pretty wrong. They're humanoids and never a hybrid between Humanoids and Animals.

And you using environment to classify them is not really a sound argument per say. Still on the movie world and going by that argument of your, someone like Tarzan , would also be classified as an animal also.

Correction: The John Wick universe is focused on assassins and their various "gangs" and "gangsters" under one umbrella and 'code'.

I don't know why you are at pains to distance the John Wick movies from the usual "gang-related" stories. Admitting it will not detract from the beauty of the story.
