So let say I miss the first two or three CDs and went for the last one can my CDs officer still give me a CDs Clearance form or what is the punish I get for missing

If you want to miss CDs is advisable you look for a suitable lies to tell your CDS coordinator that the only reason he might give you CDs slip for clearance, we that serve in obioapkor in River state they don't joke with CDs attendance ooo

Their CDs no dey sweet again like before. The last one that i bought none of the songs in the CD sweet. Don't waste your money buying their CDs

It depends on how strict your LGI is. Some LGI take Cds attendance serious and compulsory, and might not allow you do the monthly biometric clearance, if you don't attend at least thrice in a month Cds attendance. If you fall into that category, you can just give your Cds card to the CLO or your Cds president and bribe them, to be helping you sign the cds card. That's how I did during my own time. For like 4 months, I didn't attend Cds, and my Cds card is signed for the whole months I didn't attend. But sometimes I do attend the Cds, maybe twice in a month.

Yes if you want to steal money in politics then yes else it's not needed if you targeting something internationally

My whole 1 year I did not attended any CDS during manual signing

My guy who served 2021 even say na during Biometric, I give am OT say make him no go finger pri t for the mo th until on the 13th of each month. Then no crowd they won't ask for CDS clearance and him collect em certificate.


But no go tey am o my hamds no de.
If you get luck de with one Omo ale Supervisor de sort am 5k monthly.

You are in Nigeria...some don't even attend to there ppa ...but the completed the service .

I was a CDS Group leader in 1999. And I was awarded a commendation letter by NYSC in Rivers state. The only thing that made our Zonal Coordinator one Mr. Babatope not to give my corper members extensions was that I hid the final roll call from him.

National Year for Sex and Comfort is not a waste. Besides the acronym. Many of us are just leaving the comfort and security of our parents watchful eyes for the first time. Put aside the insecurity in the country. it is a place/time you can form lasting bonds and friendships that can last years. It’s where you get Salary and must learn how to make it last till the end of the month. If you have the charm - you make love every week . And it also where you get your first work experience. Lots of selfish service to the communities you can provide and bring awareness to issues . Physical with medicine and spiritual ( praying ) . Traffic warden etc.
Anyways my 2 cents .

. I was posted to a place in Rivers called okrika. The only way to my papa is by river. I refused to report there.

I received a lot of scolding from officials but I nor gree till them change am.

Why on earth would you wish to miss something that is part of the core of the experiences of NYSC? What exactly will you teach your children?


If they didn't mobilize you now, you will be crying. Anyway allow other unserious humans here to deceive you without even knowing the state you were posted until they dash you 1 year or 6 months without pay or half pay you will know you're on your own.

If you miss cds and it is documented, your service will be extended. Be sure of what you are doing and ensure you get proper information about the risks involved

Bro if u are serving in Abuja, no body should deceive you, miss CDS for one month and you will know the mess you will get yourself into, some biometrics officers will even refuse to do ur monthly clearance except your CDS officer clears you. the only way to escape it in Abuja is to get someone to be taking the attendance for you. even in other states, there are states that take it serious, no one should use the experience in other states to deceive you.

Attending CDS is my most memorable part of NYSC.

Was always happy to attend every Thursday.

I was also posted to Okrika Grammer school. Then Okrika and Eleme were fighting and eating each other.

I told the principal to reject me he got angry signed my form and scolded me for being too much in a hurry in life

But he forgot to strike accepted or rejected. So I humbly rejected myself and cursed him in my mind of course.

Went to Nysc headoffice and changed my posting to where I did not need to go to work.

But after boredom at home I went to teach at Rumuokwuta.

My service year was filled fun, tricks and disappointments that woke me into reality

I worked my service to Rivers State, my state of residence. It was easy because I schooled in Edo Stste.

But I remember giving more than 10 coppers a place to stay (for females I would beg the person not to Bleep her she is my in-law but I know that it eventually happened not my business anyway)

And 2 coppers a place to service. My knowledge about this city became an invaluable asset to my fellow corps members

Abeg if a PCM have done change of name due to marriage and updated the surname on NIN and BVN, will it affect her ability to open new account with NYSC during the 21 days camp? Since the names (that is SURNAMES) on her bank account and certificates are now different.

I didn't attend CDS throughout last month but I still did biometrics. Today was my CDS day and I slept and watched movies at home.
