Kogi West Senatorial Zone has never produced a Governor since the creation of the Confluence State.

The likes of Senator Smart Adeyemi and Hon James Faleke will surely be mad at Yahaya Bello's choice.

Going through this thread and seeing the nonsense that Nigerians celebrate makes you unsurprised how Nigeria has turned out.

Nobody is talking about Bello's abysmal performance over 8 years or how he basically killed his own people to retain power in 2019. Some people are hailing him because he had the balls to pick a successor from his ethnic group, others are admiring him for capturing the state treasury. That is what excites Nigerians - dramatic politicians. Not politicians with substance.
