Even though I am a bible student and I believe in the Bible I do not believe there is a Heaven somewhere that people go to. You can educate my ignorance if you think otherwise. However, I can tell you that there are roughly 4,200 religions, churches, denominations, religious bodies, faith groups, tribes, cultures, movements, and ultimate concerns, which at some point in the future will be countless. And each of these belief systems has different beliefs about the afterlife and who goes to heaven. In Christianity, the belief is that salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God, and those who accept Jesus as their Saviour will go to heaven. However, it is not for me to judge or say who goes to heaven, as that is a matter of personal belief and interpretation of religious teachings. Ultimately, it is up to individuals to explore and decide their own beliefs about the afterlife. In Christianity, it is believed that salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and the Saviour of humanity. Christians believe that by believing in Jesus and following his teachings, they can have eternal life and enter heaven. However, the question of whether only Christians can enter heaven is a matter of theological debate and interpretation among different Christian denominations and scholars. Those who believe in the birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and that Jesus is the son of God, have already been marked “accepted candidates” of heaven. Romans 10:9-10 If you don’t believe in Jesus as the son of God, you are condemned already. John 3:18 2 Likes |

That's what every Christian always assume. They will always be like "Jesus is the way bla bla bla". What about the the Muslims for whom prophet Muhammed is the way. Or the Indians for whom Buddha or Singh is the way. Believe me when I tell you that meself don tire for this religion matter. Na how to better myself now be my own concern. 3 Likes |

This is why I doubt most religion practices... How can we have different religion and they believe so much I. Their respective gods/God and yet everyone of them sees others as pagans..... I told one guy who's a muslim friend that if I as a Christian was born in the North into a Muslim home, I'd be seeing Christians as pagans likewise him. That we happens to find ourselves where we are told what to believe and we grow into it and now we thing our religion is the best above others. If I was Indian, probably would be Hindus... They don't even believe in heaven or hell fire... They believe that everything on earth is God. They worship cows and dogs and rats and even lions and trees. Just anything! And you can't tell me that either of these religions are wrong or right! And who goes to heaven or hell. 3 Likes |

JESUS Christ is the ONLY way to Heaven. Religion will not take anyone to Heaven. No matter how religious you are, if you do not BELIEVE on JESUS CHRIST and SURRENDER to HIM as your Lord and Savoir, forget about Heaven. 1 Like |

litigator: It depends on who you define a Christian to be. There are so many who say they are Christians because they were born into a Christian family. These sets are not necessarily qualified for heaven unless they have received Christ as their Lord and Saviour. There are also so many who profess to be Christians because they are member of one church or the other. These sets are also not necessarily qualified for heaven. You can be in church and yet not in Christ. There is yet another group of people who claim to be Christians because they keep the lawa and commandments of God. These set are also not qualified for heaven. In other for you to make heaven, you must be born again or saved. And you get saved when you accept Jesus into your heart as your Lord and Saviour. So, only those who are born again will make heaven. This is why Jesus said that we should preach this gospel to every creature under heaven. The church however is not doing enough to get the message to lost souls. There are wonderful testimonies of people from other religion giving their lives to Christ. Yes, Jesus is the only way to God. Not church or Mosque or any other religion. |
