Hello Nairalanders, I would like to share this here as it still surprised me as I type.I had a friend in the UK,at peckham.I met him (James)few years ago when I followed my aunt for a long holiday.He lived with his mum then,who was already divorced with his dad and gained 40% possession of his properties has explain to me by James.James is the first child of his parents,followed by his younger sister.James mum is a black woman and his father white.So Fast forward to January this year,I surprisingly received an international call from Melly, a girlfriend to james because I stay in Nigeria currently.She told me James had an accident and he is short of blood.I feel sad about it.I called James line but it didn't go through.I later got the info that James dad later visited him at the hospital when things are getting out of hand.He did a DNA test when things got complicated,and can't donate blood without James mum's knowledge and found out he is not the father of James.James is still in hospital right now after getting a donor few days ago
James mum is SS.I feel sorry for both James and his dad right now

I thought they do blood type/blood health test rather than DNA.

I support compulsory DNA test for all newborns .

This is getting out of hand.I wouldn't want my brothers,sons to train kids that are not theirs ,coupled with the emotional, mentally truama that comes it , especially when the kids are all grown.
