Section 65(1c) of the Act gives the commission the power to review already announced results within 7 days and make the appropriate decision.

That review is what the commission is currently doing/already done.

Once the returning officer announces the winner on Thursday, then, only the Tribunal change the outcome.

Read 2022 Electoral Act section 65 which says that "Provided that the Commission shall have the power within seven days to review the declaration and return where the Commission determines that the said declaration and return was not made voluntarily or was made contrary to the provisions of the law, regulations and guidelines, and manual for the election.”
