A high office holder cannot have dual citizenship since that could result in conflict of interests. It is this conflict of interests that motivated the writers of our constitution to bar individuals with dual citizenship from office of president, governor or lawmaker!Dual citizenship issue again? Now the druggie criminality continues. This man is just an embodiment of anything despicable ever imagined. 33 Likes |

TheNiceGuy:What could have given the REC the audacity to usurp the role of the state returning officer? Look no further than the INEC chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu’s disregard to the complaints by the opposition parties at the national collation centre in Abuja after the February 25 presidential election. Recall that the opposition parties had alleged manipulation of the collation process and the INEC chairman had promised to look into their complaints. He never addressed those complaints before declaring the presidential candidate of APC Asiwaju Bola Tinubu the winner, while the aggrieved were told to go to court. It seems the Adamawa REC was working with the same template. Like a son imitating his father (INEC chairman), Hudu Ari announced Binani as the winner expecting the incumbent governor and the PDP to go to court if they are unsatisfied. 27 Likes |

The Adamawa REC drew his impetus from the stupidity and act of brazen mandate theft that was perpetuated by Mahmoud Yakubu at the presidential election. I’m still hoping he’s lynched whenever he’s found. They shouldn’t give him the luxury of being arrested by the police. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Racoon: It's just a matter of time.... Nigerians might not take this anymore.... We're beginning to realise that our problem isn't the ruling party not the politicians but INEC failing to give the country it's desired candidate. The revolution will not spare them.... Because they're beginning to have Nigerians frown at them... 5 Likes 1 Share |

It seems the Adamawa REC was working with the same template. Like a son imitating his father (INEC chairman), Hudu Ari announced Binani as the winner expecting the incumbent governor and the PDP to go to court if they are unsatisfied. The only saving grace for the governor and the PDP is that the declaration was not made by the lawful person, which by law is the returning officer. The action of the REC could have set Adamawa on fire, but for the quick intervention of the state governor who called for calm. INEC also speedily disowned the purported declaration of Binani, as the winner of the supplementary governorship election. 2 Likes |

From the 2022 Electoral Law (passed by the National Assembly and signed by the President), PU election results will be uploaded real-time then collation will continue from there & if there is a disparity between results uploaded and that physically collated, the upload takes precedence. However Yakubu continued collation and announced a winner when results were not ready which is what happened in Adamawa. As we speak, all results are yet to be uploaded so as far as the Law is concerned, elections are still on going. In Datti’s words, what have they not abused in this country? 2 Likes |

Where is Tinubu? Even Atiku of all people has not relocated to Dubai just yet he is in Yola, Peter Obi is still in around doing his thing freely in Nigeria. But please I ask again Where is Tinubu? One would expect Tinubu to be in somewhere like Eko Atlantic or Maitama by now resting or welcoming dignitaries. APC claims Eko Atlantic is the paradise Tinubu built by himself why can't he rest there after a stressful election.. Please why is he in France? 4 Likes |

So much drama this Election. What I just like is how SE hates Tinubu and he cheated them out of their turn. Paid Obi to run against him, under the table without even Obi knowing. Started Obidient movement to insult him while putting him in Aso Rock. Released Yes Daddy audio and Guinea dual citizenship to cause distraction.... Tinubu is just a Grandmaster.

i dey tell you Those blaming the REC forgot that INEC chairman set the pace for him. The guy is a good learner. INEC chairman who was adjourning the result collations to day time chose to announce Tinubu as president when Nigerians are sleeping. When Results have not be duely uploaded on IREV. No be thief be that Arrest INEC Chairman too 4 Likes |
