I think that should be their first semi final in 17 years or so... yet Dem no go let us rest ontop pedigree.

Lol.. nonsense pedigree... Niggas looking for excuses to justify their bad belleism.

If there's any team that can claim to have pedigree in the champions league,it is Real Madrid and maybe Bayern.....

That osihmen injury cost Napoli the semi final of champions league

No bro, Kvara's selfish play cost them the semi final slot more than Osimhen injury... If Osimhen was available for the first leg, there's no guarantee that Kvara won't play the same way he did yesterday

You have just said it all
komekn:

Agreed suffering and smiling and saying, we leave it to God, that's resignation.

Christians are expected unequivocally to have Expectation anchored on faith and therefore righteousness. Faith and expectations are an action not just passive thoughts.

We keep quite, do nothing and expect something to happen. That's the opposite of Faith.

I leave with a quote that explains it all, to me.

Actually, "good" Nigerians have been doing their best to change the system especially in recent times. Just look at the way our youths participated en masse in the last elections instead of their usual "siddon dey look".

Young Nigerians fought even to the point of literally laying down their lives. At the end of the day, what happened still happened.

So, it's not just that the good people are not fighting. The evil ones in this country have so much wealth and power that the good ones cannot do anything meaningful against them.

That's the sad reality.

Very bitter TRUTH.

Indeed the political class are willing to spill the blood of any body by any means possible to ensure the political status quo remains.

Selection NEVER EVER free , fair and transparent Elections.

While this is true, I think Osimhen playing the first leg would have changed her entire dynamics of the second leg.

All AC Milan had to do yesterday was do defend to keep their advantage. They were disciplined and did that as a team. They literally had 3 men in the box on Osimhen and there was always Kvara was double marked. This wouldn't have happened in the first leg as they had no advantage to defend and would have gone all out leaving enough space for Osimhen to exploit.

I also think Spaletti was outsmarted sha. Milan had one game plan from beginning to end and he couldn't think of something to disrupt it for 90 minutes. The injuries and suspensions put Napoli in a bad place. Ndombele who replaced Anguissa was responsible for the goal Milan scored, and just maybe a Kim at the back would have prevented the goal.

Tim is gonna be a super star. Bobo is in the mould of gravenbach, bellingham, pogba, rabiot kinda midfielder

I love him so much I hope the English will just allow him rep us

There is another kid in crystal palace u21 team who is also good as Tim but more defensive minded. Another to watch out for but have forgotten his name

YOu guys should not worry. Samson Tijani is the future of our super eagles midfield.
When he returns from injury, he will pick up from where he left off.
The signs are there
Big clubs chasing him from a young age
he went to Red Bull Salzburg.
It is very rare for a red bull salzburg player not to succeed.
Remember haaland, nkuku etc are red bull products.
Also he is doing well in the clubs he was loaned to
and has even played in the champions league.
In addition to the guys been mentioned, we should watch out for him.
And what more, he does not have any dual nationality issue.

NFF Announces New Policy For
Super Eagles’ Player Selection

April 19, (THEWILL) – The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF)
has announced a new policy that only foreign-based players,
who show sufficient interest in representing Nigeria, will be
invited to the Super Eagles.
This decision was made following the team’s recent poor
performances, including a 0-1 loss to Guinea Bissau in the
2023 AFCON qualifiers. The NFF board unanimously agreed
that the Federation should no longer beg players to play for
the national team.
“The Board expressed distaste with recent results of the
Super Eagles and the U23 Boys and fully endorsed the NFF
President’s stated position that the Federation will never
beg any player to wear the nation’s colours,” a statement
from the NFF board read.

The board also warned that any player, who shows a
lackadaisical attitude when playing for Nigeria will no longer
be treated lightly. In addition, the NFF board promised to
take action against football agents, who engage in nefarious
activities that have contributed to the poor performance of
the national teams.
“The Board vowed to henceforth, mete out stiff sanctions to
whoever is caught aiding or abetting, dealing, perpetrating or
perpetuating the ignoble activities of these nefarious
individuals no matter their roles, status or pedigree,” said
the NFF board. The board also plans to revitalise the
domestic game by constituting boards for various leagues
within the next month.

This is fine. We can only demand the best from those who truly want to don the Green - White - Green. If we make an initial overture to a foreign born, and they decline our request, then we should move on. Simple.

This is nonsense..

They should sack Salisu and his coaching staff to show they are serious and also upgrade the football pitches the S.E trains on and the one in the Abuja stadium.

They are very stupid.. They allow the coaches to pick below par players ( whether foreign born or born in Nigeria ) and then start directing the blame at the players instead of the coaches and themselves.

That should be the first thing to Address, For in that they will know who is lazy and don't want to rep,

But threatening fire and brimstone is no way to motivate a player, look at Osimhen for example, If those two legged games against GB, had been played on a good pitch, and JP had used him well, there won't be an injury, and it would had been Napoli in the Semi final
