In economics we say demand drives price.

The higher the demand the higher the price, on this I would say it's cheaper because the demand isn't high yet

This is very very dangerous. Gas is highly flammable with very low ignition point. Nigeria has no good safety standards or good enforcement body to ensure people don't cut conners leading to loss of lives.
