I am a born Wafarian and a typical proud one at that. Though from Delta North I still believe and know very well that my state is laced with a lot of Igbo cultures.

We may not be Igbos by tribe.
We may not be Igbos by divisions.
We may have every reason not to be Igbos but one truth is very certain the Igbo culture and way of life is more closer to me than the people from the North and West.

The hard truth even though as a typical Deltan I will not accept it is the fact that Igbos are the primary movers of most states in Nigeria with Delta State inclusive.

Personally I can't imagine Nigeria without the Igbos. There is an extent you will go in this country as a Deltan and the only tribe or people that will come to your rescue are the Igbos.

May God continue to empower them, enrich them and lead them forth.

If an Igbo call you his brother don't joke with it.

Quick question, between onitsha and awka, which one was supposed to the state capital? Between aba and umuahia, which one is supposed to be the state capital?

You're not getting the gist. Any place can be the state capital. The guy I quoted said that Igbos have at least 40% influence in Delta. I'm just telling him it's a lie. The first two most influential ethnic groups in Delta are not Igboid.

I don't have anything against the Igbos, but if you ask me, Warri people decide everything in Delta State. Asaba (I consider them Igboid) is just an administrative area.
I disagree that Nigeria can't do without a tribe. I believe we'll do better individually than being together without direction.
