BlueRayDick:Some pages back, a certain northern defender said the herdsmen have done their homework on ranches and it doesn't suit them so they prefer the outdated practice of grazing. Benue people according to the herdsmen are farming on their land (grazing route) so how dare benue people do so even when government came out to say these are grazing route. |

PapalsBull:Hmmmm…. I must have missed the discussion back then. But let’s say it’s the grazing route of the herdsmen for argument sake , Shey na to kill the people “trespassing” come be solution ? It’s just absurd that people get killed in their dozens every fortnight and then the killers disappear into thin air while the constituted authorities do next to nothing to bring the perpetrators to justice . The same thing is happening in Kaduna and I saw a video of the president of the Southern kaduna association lamenting about the governor paying lip service to finding a lasting solution . He says the governor just sends condolence messages and then another series of attacks follows . How people in those parts of the country have not resorted to self-help is still a wonder of the world o |

BlueRayDick:You can't self help against an enemy that comes and disappears while you are a sitting duck in a static location. Security solution is beyond any Nigerian Governor or the local community. |

Ibime:Forget that Kaduna own there's a reason the attacks are all from southern Kaduna, there's a documentary about it The government doesn't care because only the Christian part of Kaduna is deeply affected |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Ibime(m): 12:45pm On Apr 23, 2023 |
iamoyindamola:Government cares very well, the problem is beyond them. Which Governor wants to be known for insecurity? Does Benue government not care, they are Christians. Even Buhari can't sleep well in Daura, all his kinsmen are being killed. That is Muslim on Muslim. It is simply beyond his capability. |

Ibime:This is why I'm against arming militias to fight insecurity they always go rogue especially when they have tasted wealth, power and influence. They will always ask for more to stay in line or else they will go rogue |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by monerozi5590: 1:19pm On Apr 23, 2023 |
iamoyindamola:Is never good to compare killings but the insecurity is not only in the southern part in recent times. Birnin Gwari. A local government in Northern Kaduna. There was a time this local government was under consistent attacked from bandits. This local government was under siege for three days or so. The security personnel have been dealing with them but this bandits are cowards. They always come at night when people have retired to their bed to attack. |

Somebody was talking about Twitter alternative the other day Jack Dorsey just launched his own Bluesky. |

Amoto94:This imho is also the story of the bandits. Once you have been in boko haram with access to money, women and power that you never had before, you will never let it go. |

Bombblacks:It will die a natural death. I doubt any other social media can rival Twitter for the foreseeable future talkless of a clone. |

Guys? Would you say we spend almost the same amount on electricity in Nigeria as compared to UK averagely in a year? You have to factor in the amount you spend to also source for light outside nepa like fuel or diesel for gen and maybe your solar inverter (even though this is a one time payment in some cases) Nihilistjnr wachu think?

monerozi5590:It is called asymmetrical warfare. Or in the case of actual occupation a resistance movement. It cannot be solved using conventional warfare. An intelligence gathering/infiltration approach is required here. I am not sure the government realizes this yet. |

izzou:you guys are not understanding something...alot of popular social medias died during all those periods because it was HYPE then Social media is longer hype and Twitter is among the leaders if not the leader Agreed, anything can die but it'll take something very drastic to kill Twitter |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlaqFaze: 2:53pm On Apr 23, 2023 |
And if you check very well... Most of these big social media companies are not competing with each other because their product differs Facebook, Twitter, Tiktok are very different from each other |

Ibime:All this one U are saying is what the government would have u believe ; if u discuss with people from the affected areas u will be surprised they know and are very sure who their enemies are .The only thing stopping them atimes from resorting to self help is the fear of security forces coming after them when shiiit hits the fan. This was the same way the Fulani militia were attacking villages and towns in the oke-Ogun areas part of Oyo state like Igangan and co. The people were always reporting the attrocities and waiting like sitting ducks without the authorities coming to their rescue . I watched a video of a man who had his two hands amputated because he was working on his farm when the Fulani militia came calling . The man narrated how they rid him of his arms. The moment sunday Igboho armed the hunters/vigilantes , they went overboard in trying to protect their people and we all saw how the government came for him with full force. And finally a government that is interested in security solution will not take the kind of position Federal government is taking on this Fulani herdsmen issues. They won’t be talking about grazing routes of 1960’s as a solution to problems in 2023 |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlaqFaze: 3:03pm On Apr 23, 2023 |
izzou:Yh... drastically different from Twitter Which means it won't even be competing with Twitter And Twitter users will remain largely unchanged...you can have own Twitter account and a Tiktok (drastically different) account...they solve different problems |

BlueRayDick:How old Tee Mac say Tinubu be? 86 last year so he is 87yrs now Which will mean Tinubu is older than MKO Buhari OBJ Babangida Bisi Akande So do you believe Tee Macs claim.that Tinubu is older than those people? If you don't I will now ask that Is Tee Mac suffering from Dementia or he just hates his cousin’s husband that he will make such claims about him? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by reccy(m): 3:11pm On Apr 23, 2023 |
GloriousGbola:Honestly, I don't understand the strategies or if these guys even have an approach to tackling insecurities. They seem to be so redundant using one approach to solving different problems and end up complicating it more. Ahswear, ayam tayad!!! |

BlueRayDick: The bolded dy always vex me ahswear. Grazing route in 2023 is just too Archaic and unhealthy. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 3:15pm On Apr 23, 2023 |
BlueRayDick:So do we believe Tee Mac or not when he said Tinubu is 86 last year and 87 this year. It's either Tee Mac was lying or saying the truth. Exaggeration of number is also a lie Tee Mac said Tinubu is 87 this year, you think he is lying / exaggerating. So Tee Mac cannot be a reliable source since he already lied I don't know Tinubus age beyond what he officially declared but if I'm to guess I will say about 5yrs older than he declared like many people usually do |

liveLongNprospa:Lamba. So him Dey use diesel generator, inverter and other operational cost which suggest he’s most likely running a business or a factory, he wants to compare it with individual energy bill in the UK? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 3:24pm On Apr 23, 2023 |
raumdeuter:The bold is my thoughts too. I have a relative who worked with the federal government; when she turned 60 (her real age ), my old man called her in my presence to congratulate her on her birthday . After the call he said something about the disadvantages of reducing one’s age. He said she’s 60 today but she can’t celebrate cos her official age is 5 years younger; any attempt for her to do elaborate celebration of the 60 years birthday means she’s out of the work cos her official retirement age is supposed to be 60. It was then I knew people cut their ages especially wella but most times it’s usually not more than 5-6 years difference . |

reccy:The fact that Malami the chief law officer of the country could not advise the president appropriately in that matter is unfortunate . Imagine Buhari referring to gazette of 1960’s on Grazing routes when Land use act had overridden such archaic practice . Land use act is even embedded in the constitution o. Shebi let’s assume Buhari is a former soldier who knows nothing about the law on matters like that, Is Malami the AGF not supposed to inform him how Land use act had had vested the ownership of lands to the governors ? |

larride:If you will run aircon, iron and other intensive appliances… You need diesel generators. Run Mikano generators for one month for your personal house and see the cost. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 3:54pm On Apr 23, 2023 |
obainojazz:Why will want to run Mikano generators? The big gen that I use can comfortably carry my deep freezer and fridge at the same time including all household appliances except for AC. Also you cannot be comparing high consuming energy level with average ones. How many people can even afford to buy those Mikano diesel generators in Nigeria for their personal use? |
