INEC adhoc staff were mostly NYSC Youth Corp Members. While going through some result sheets on IREV, the following result sheets (see attached picture) revealed that some of our Corp Members are "olodo". You would expect the Corp Members to be well educated as they purportedly graduated from tertiary institutions.

Picture 1: The INEC adhoc staff is writing 8 as "eate" instead of eight. Writing 88 as "eate ete" instead of eighty eight. And writing 187 as "one eate seven" instead of one hundred and eighty seven.

Picture 2: The adhoc staff wrote 57 as "fivety seven" instead of fifty seven. Writing 46 as "fourty six" instead of forty six. And writing 100 as "one hundret" instead of one hundred.

Picture 3: The INEC adhoc staff wrote 207 as "two zero seven" instead of two hundred and seven.

What do you have to say about this sorry situation?

The problem of this country is corruption that has eaten into the fabric parts of the system. They will train 200 for example, they will shortlist it to 100 at the end of the exercise and later substitute it with 100 that have not participated at all in the training, that is why you see all these blunders. Something of this nature will still happen in the forthcoming NPC. It is unfortunate.
