But the real issue is the Buhari-led terrorist government is making self-defence impossible for them. If you arm yourselves with ordinary machetes and say you want to go after the sophisticatedly armed terrorists, the federal government sends the police and the military after you. So, we need to be on the same page as Ortom on this and create sufficient noise that will form a part of what will lead to the needed change.

In the days of regionalism. every region had its own police and maintained its internal security. Federalism is different from a unitary system being currently operated in Nigeria. Why is our federation different from what obtains in the US, UK, Canada, India, etc. We are different nations deceptively fused together and being forcefully tethered together: that fact cannot be treated anyhow if we want a united country. Every local council or state should be legislated to have its iwn security agency. Do you even leave the security of your family in the hands of members of another who do not share any cultural and linguistic affinity with you?
