All these western countries that keep starting and funding wars so they can sell their weapons should remember that nothing lasts forever.
This war is not about the West, or Russia, it is purely about two men and their egos.

Separation or splitting up is never a solution to all issues and problems.

Both North and South sudan have issues, after splitting up.

Usa should continue deceiving the gullible people

Without Usa and other western countries agreeing of selling weapons to both factions, those useless military leaders in Sudan wouldn't have gone into this senseless war
Has nothing to do with the USA , Russia or any nation.

Infact, Sudan's major weapons suppliers since the 1990's have been....Rossiya, China and Iran,(Sudan also has a domestic arms industry).

What is happening here is the egos of two men at war, nothing to do with US, Russia, China, Iran. Infact, everyone is and has been basically screaming at both men to calm down.

Unfortunately, it's our dear Russia (through Wagner Group), not the western countries, that has providing the RSF with hard and soft military equipments.

Russia supplies Sudan as a whole with weapons. China and Iran too.

But the thing is, Russia, nor any other power, including the US has nothing to do with this. Infact, Russia wanted to set up a base in Sudan, but it was predicated on the Sudan getting back to Democracy, which is also what the USA wants too oddly enough.

Part of the road to democracy was the future of the RSF. The Sudan Army thinks the RSF should be integrated into its ranks, the RSF disagrees, fighting developed.

Oga, you should stop blaming others for one's problems

Sudanese people are not robots that are controlled by outsiders. They are human beings with independent thought and action

What is happening here is two men's big egos clashing. Nothing more, nothing less. No one external is involved. Infact, almost every country is screaming at them to stop.

Infact the last thing Ethiopia needs is a crisis in Sudan. On top of the internal issues it has.

You're right. Hemetti is just trying to take over power from Abdel Fattah al-Burhan after working with the SAF to removed Presidential Omar al-Bashir, and supporting al-Burhan during the 2021 coup.

Toh, then why are Westerners angry at African leaders for rejecting LGBTQ right? Isn't that imposition?

One of the reasons why even if Nigeria separates, the status quo will persist. It has never been about north Vs south, Muslim Vs Christian or One tribe Vs another tribe.........It has always been about the elites Vs the masses..............in the struggle for resources..................

All these western countries that keep starting and funding wars so they can sell their weapons should remember that nothing lasts forever.

African countries should not allow foreign nations to fight each other by using Africans on African soil.
The United States and Russia should not fight proxy wars in Africa.

Simple.

The RSF (somewhat similar to our civillian JTF, only more armed and weaponised..they were formed to help fight the war in Darfur some 19 years ago)...are supposed to be integrated into the army as part of Sudan's eventual return to democracy, and they are violently resisiting it.

Or to be more simple...two big egoistical jokes are at war...

Same issues in Southern Sudan with Riek Machar and Salva Kir.

Ego is a big problem in some countries.

Except that this is not a proxy war...this is a war between two big men who cannot simply compromise.

For once, everyone wants them to calm down, and that includes both the US and Russia.

That is not the point here man, and you know it.

Completely different topic, which has nothing to do with what is happening in Sudan.

If anyone is to be blamed, it's Omar Al bashir for running an Arab supremacist government that created resentments, which led to war in Darfur and South Sudan, which led to the establishment of a millita that grew into the RSF, which is now causing problems...though to be honest the Army too has mishandled its future.

You guys should stop blaming the West, Russia, and China for everything. It makes us look like little helpless babies with no independent minds.

I don't think he can beat the Sudan Army really...he just wants to show that he is relevant.

Also, integration into the army essentially makes him irrelevant, subject to the Army rules and regulations. He would no longer be a boss, so to speak.

Maybe we should as well blame the western countries for Nigeria's security issues such as the BH in NE, Banditry in the NW, and Fulani-clash in the middle belt and SW, and militancy in the SS and SE.

You forgot to mention that the base deal was dependent on Sudan getting back to democratic rule...ie the base had to be ratified by a democratically elected government

As the Arab News put it...

Sudan’s ruling military concluded a review of an agreement with Russia to build a navy base on the Red Sea in the African country, two Sudanese officials said Saturday.
They said the deal was awaiting the formation of a civilian government and a legislative body to be ratified before it takes effect. The officials said Moscow met Sudan’s most recent demands, including providing more weapons and equipment.
“They cleared all our concerns. The deal has become OK from the military side,” one official said.
The officials did not provide further details and spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss internal deliberations. A spokesman for the Sudanese military declined to comment.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov also said Thursday the deal still needs ratification by Sudan’s yet-to-be-formed legislative body.
And one of the things needed to be sorted out on the road to demcoratic rule was the future of the RSF. The pro-democratic forces in Sudan demanded that the RSF should be integrated in the Army. The Army agreed, the RSF disagreed and took up arms.

You guys should stop blaming the US, RUSSIA or any nation

Sometimes I find it hard to understand the role of AU. Look at Nigeria, a supposed giant of Africa, we're still discussing evacuating students. Though I understand that Saudi, Egypt and I think Kenya have stepped in.

We can't blame him, rather it's the Omar al-Bashir's government which empowered his likes during the Dafur war.
