Well, from 1969-1992, the British and the Irish were bombing and killing themsleves. In the 1970's domestic terror groups, mostly left wing, ran amock in Europe. Then there was the chaos in the former Yugoslavia( the only reason why they are not killing themselves right now is because there are peacekeepers on permanent rotation, and also because the EU threatens them with withdrawal of membership offers if they do not behave)...and let's not forget World War 2, fought primarily in Europe, where far more people died and were displaced than in any African war. And WWI and the high number of wars that were fought in Europe.

There was virtual civil war for a while, thanks to the fact that Machar and Kir cannot at the very least compromise. Things have calmed down, for now, but are still tense.

Sudan's main weapons suppliers are the Russians, Iranians, and Chinese.

US does not sell or supply any weapons to Sudan at all.

Both the Army and the RSF get their weapons from the same supply...see above. Also, Sudan has a small domestic arms industry
