Peter Obi of the Labour Party said no serious leader would go on a rest (vacation) in Nigeria.

Obi, the presidential candidate of LP during the February 25 election, disclosed this on Monday when he paid the Muslim community in Akwa Central Mosque an Eid-el-fitr visit.

He urged that Nigerians should not be divided based on religion or politics.

He said: “People who want to rest can go and relax. I am not resting because I have to visit schools and hospitals and interact with people.

No serious leader will go and rest in Nigeria. We will continue to visit as many people as possible and support them as best we can”.

Recall that the President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu returned to Nigeria on Monday after his over one Month vacation in Europe.

Meanwhile, Tinubu, in his speech after his return, said he was ready to kick the ground running.

What are you resting for?
Buhari rested half of his administration
What did we get at the end a plead for forgiveness

We don't want a leader that would be snoring in Aso Rock...

Mtchew..

Only the wicked does not rest..

Even lower animals dey rest, how much more humans. If you have peace of mind and God blessings is following you, you’ll surely be having peace of mind to rest..

There’s a nervous system in human’s body called Parasympathetic nerve. It’s a passage that helps relax your body after stress. Also, whenever you finished eating and lay down, the nerve that helps your digestion at the point in time is Parasympathetic nerve!

But I understand his predicament. Anambra curse is one pathetic thing. Once it placed on you, you won’t have peace of mind not to talk of rest... So a bad omen like Lamba Nanu can’t ever have peace of mind to rest! It has been confirmed by Anambra people..

Parading himself up and down like somebody important even after losing woefully, he is on a denial, his mind playing tricks on him that he is the president, it can only end in depression by the time reality set in, sore loser
