I am impressed by the US judiciary, I can say they are the most important preserver of US democracy. Apart from a few questionable rulings like Judge Aileen Cannon (which was quickly corrected), US were/are largely apolitical. I wish the same can be said for our own judiciary.

I believe the US judiciary is largely apolitical at least at the lower levels. The only highly political arm is the supreme court. And that is because recent appointments into the supreme court US based mainly on political considerations.
Even at that Supreme court decisions had been largely apolitical until the Trump era. Trump specifically appointed supreme court judges he believed would help him win the 2020 elections and the Republicans were shopping for judges that would overturn Roe v wade and other republican ideologies.
