Sudan's Civil War, Lessons to learn

Many atimes people often mistaken the Diamond they are holding in their hands for a stone, but come to realised that when they threw it away.

A popular Sudan's 🇸🇩 President Omar Albashir was over thrown in 2019 just because of soaring bread prices. The two General who toppled his government are now at each other's throat of who control the centre.

Sudan's Army chief General Abdul Fatah Burhan and the Commander of Paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF), Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, nick named Hemet.

Forces loyal to two rival generals are vying for control, and as is so often the case civilians have suffered the most, with hundreds killed and thousands injured.

The civilians who protest against a government because prices of bread, now cannot even see the bread 🥪 to eat.

The sums of all fears is that the world balkanization forces US 🇺🇸 and Russia 🇷🇺 are now seeing an opportunity to fight a proxy war, like in the Ukraine's 🇺🇦

This is a big lesson for us Nigerians, those that are beating the war drums. Many atimes we dont even argue for major issues, we always do so for a small and useless issues.

Believe me, the greatest gift in this world after life itself, is PEACE!

There is no peace without justice, first talk about injustices in Nigeria and how to address them before condemning those that get angry at it. Nigeria is full of injustice how can 2 children write common entrance exam and 1 must score 85 and the other only 4? How do you arrest rioters in a part of Nigeria and yet can't arrest 1 person among the multitude that burnt Deborah in front of her father? How can fulanis kill people like meat and yet walk freely with the army at their side? So you think peace is worth all these? You will learn

Did I just read 1.2 million Dollars? Why are these people taking Nigerians for granted? Our political class just really think every Nigerian is a fool. Else how do you even have the liver to come through with these formulations? Sometimes it is even better these their stealing habits ain’t brought to spot light. Because it gives people like me sleepless night and a sense of hopelessness. I just keep fearing for the future of many unborn Nigerians. Thieves and misfits everywhere parading themselves as politicians. And yet we have youths who would sing their praises just for a peanut of rewards as against their well-being or . #spits.

The Federal Government has said it will prioritize the evacuation of women, children and diplomats from Sudan, following the ongoing crisis in the African nation.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, disclosed this on Thursday while briefing State House correspondents after the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Onyeama said the government was working closely with the Sudanese government to ensure the safety of Nigerians in the country.

He said the government was also in contact with the African Union and the United Nations to ensure that the crisis in Sudan was resolved.

The minister also said the government was working closely with the Nigerian Embassy in Khartoum to ensure that Nigerians in Sudan were safe.

He said the government was also in contact with the Sudanese government to ensure that the safety of Nigerians in Sudan was not compromised.

He said the government was also working with the International Organisation for Migration to ensure the safe evacuation of Nigerians from Sudan.

Onyeama said the government was also in contact with the African Union and the United Nations to ensure that the crisis in Sudan was resolved.

He added that the government was also engaging with the international community to ensure that the safety of Nigerians in Sudan was not compromised.

Imagine the huge sum of funds. We are always always always searching for ways to embezzle public funds. If we are spending this much, how much would countries that are far from Sudan spend? We are too mean in this country. As it is, being born a Nigerian is already a disadvantage. Devil must damage the lives of these people and that of their generation.

Buses doesn’t need to be purchased. All of our ministries have good buses. They should pick one each from each of them.

u consider the logistics and welfare for 40 buses, 5000 people by road in one of the harshest climates. Many if them are coming back to Nigeria with nothing to build on.

Leave the dingbat. No amount of apologies or write ups can undo the injustice meted out on Nigerians by Buhari and his ethnic group. They think that by writing lengthy admonitions and tendering shallow apologies everything will be ok? Justice must be served before any true peace like you said.

We have been exposed and accustomed to mistreatment, corruption, misrule, maladministration etc. so when our government faithfully executes NORMAL EXPECTATIONS, it seems like a magnanimous, selfless and philanthropic act, we thank them for it and it endears them to us.

Although, the West has been able to create a 'garden' (Borrell, EU official) for itself at the expense and continuous exploitation of those it has condemned and confined to the 'jungle' (Borrell)

Corruption is more rampant in the West but it's much more subtle and covert (I wrote about this in 2020 based on my observations, exposure and personal experience...then I saw the authors/writers in the aforementioned links use the same words I used..it was affirming and vitalizing)
Westerners are also exposed to to "mistreatment, corruption, misrule, maladministration" BUT in the sense that developing countries are thier specimens (they're well indoctrinated in that 'knowledge' by Western mechanisms).
The" garden vs the jungle" division creates an aura of superiority (and they're emboldened by the inferiority complex of thier subjects/the colonized)....
These circumstances leads to the conditioning by means of distractions and manipulations (which I've already touched on in this discourse) that the worst scenario in the West
is better than the best of developing countries.
In conclusion, just like inhabitants of developing countries, majority of westerners are also 'trauma bonded' in the context of this writing and we're the samples/specimen for thier exposure to to "mistreatment, corruption, misrule, maladministration."
