Ex-Governor Obiano Hosts Igwe Ogbunka, HRM JohnMark Anyaoha In US

The immediate past governor of Anambra state, Chief Willie Obiano has played host to a renowned traditional ruler and the Igwe Chiemere-eze , Nka 1 of Ogbunka Kingdom, His Royal Highness Igwe JohnMark Anyaoha.

The former governor received Igwe JohnMark Anyaoha in Green Jade Drive Spring TX USA.

Igwe JohnMark Anyaoha is currently in the US for a short vacation where he also met with a number of stakeholders in Anambra politics.

He was accompanied by his friends, Hon Dr Vincent Okpala, former Commissioner of Health Anambra State and Engr Richard Okonkwo, the Isimmiri Ogbunka.

During the meeting, they discussed the leadership and future of Anambra, as well as efforts to galvanise the potentials of the state for the best interest of the citizens.

The former governor also presented his book, "Willie, An Intimate Biography" written by his wife, Ebelechukwu Obiano to his guests.
Obiano governed Anambra for eight years and handed over the baton of leadership to the incumbent Governor Charles Soludo in 2022.

What will it take for these governors to make their states as beautiful and economically viable as the places they run to in the United States?

Any leader that has looted their state treasury at the detriment of their people will meet a fate worse than that of Ekweremadu......

What a pitiful sight. Power is transient. He is now alone and abandoned by all the people that use to troop round him and even those seeking appointment to meet him. Obiano is now a lonely figure and grateful for any visitor he can receive. I bet that traditional ruler never get such opportunity to be granted audience by Obiano when he was governor.

Haven't heard about Obiano for long. Does anybody know whether he has resolved his issue with the EFCC? Has he been able to travel to the US as he intended?
