Make una dey take am easy with all these agenda

Sudan to Egypt = 2000km
$1,200,000 ÷ 40 = $30,000/ bus
One bus carries 50 passengers
5,500÷40 = 138 passengers per bus
So one bus needs to go three times to earn $30,000

‐----------‐--

Lagos to Accra = 500km
One seat is 50,000*50 = 2,500,000
To cover that distance = 2,500,000*4 = 10,000,000
Multiply it by 3 again (to carry 138 passengers) and you'll see the margin is not too much.
Divide your total buy 750/$ and you'll be hoovering around that same markup

I know this is different, but you should have an idea of how you are exaggerating this matter

I couldn't view the 1st site but the others.

From your response, you are blaming the wrong person cos he didn't sleep with the lies Abike threw to the world.

The 2nd site told you an inflated figure for personal use who hasn't negotiated yet....I think if they had reach an agreement......it would have been a smooth ride.

Naija paid 1.2m us dolls as against the normal price but the driver had to throw his passengers into the cold cos he has not been paid...I think you can connect the dots cos history has shown us what to expect from our politicians

Belike na u dey grind out agenda like this cos your calculations is 100% unnecessary.

They gov said the paid 1.2m us dolls (quite huge) and the drivers stopped them in d midst of nowhere cos they haven't got paid.

IMO,d money is huge and inflated but Gbola's view about no money is too large in a ravaged country is understandable to some extent if they had a smooth ride......

a month ago i was running a small project. we chartered a taxi to deliver some construction materials to several sites across lagos. we started moving late, and they were still on the road at 10pm. next thing driver started saying he was not going again. he started demanding more money. we had already negotiated, we already knew the route , the man as a driver knew we would be moving late at night - and that was his ultimate plan - to shake us down at the right moment.

you are talking as if this is not something we as nigerians are all used to - artisans or transporters waiting for a point of no return after which they show colour and jack up the price - especially when they have seen that you are desperate.

even after they had paid teh driver, nothing stopped the driver from abandoning them on the road, or handing them to rebels

nigerians get robbed and raped and murdered on the road to libya, also after they have paid in full for the journey

let me spell it out

when you are trying to escape a warzone and you have to pay for your transport - all bets are off.
if the drivers had decided to stop every 1 hour and demand more money, there is nothing anyone could have done.

as it is there are reports that they are not allowing them to enter into egypt. the whole taking of the passports was simply another planned blackmail.

..... I guess you missed some pages cos point you're trying to make has been discussed. Do you expect Government to pay them off 100%?!

I guess the problem is TRUST. Government do not trust them and they don't trust Government either.

Good News is; they are now at the border and Air force C-130 have been sent to airlift them back home.

Issues arise

Yesterday you saw that one batch has arrived Egypt. Why are you not talking about that?

I am not saying the FG is competent, but this is a region in crises; there are bound to be disappointments, setbacks and even unbelievable inflations

Take it easy with the agenda.

Meanwhile Abike has taken over responsibility of Minister of foreign affairs once again.

Her Agency has taken over the process.

See bro....you said in an unsatisfactory environment, things could go awry wch is right.

But what we have here,is the driver complaining of lack of pay hence the decision made...

The money is large and the history of trust must play a role un analysing ish of this instance.

I read the New governor elect of Kano state will be reviewing the dethronement of Sanusi as the Emir of Kano by Ganduje.

Is it possible for him to be reinstated ? What happens to the current Emir now if Sanusi is reinstated ?

Trust issue again. You believe what the driver said coz you don't trust your own Government.

Do you ever think of what the driver said as blackmailing? NEMA said they sorted it out but you'll rather believe what a driver of another national said.

The told us 1.2m was spent...we believe it might be inflated courtesy of history.

They compounded the d already killed TRUST issue by not paying the driver wch led to another episode of shalaye..

This truly proves that the UK has become the most open society in the modern world..
I don't know of any other country that would have this high degree of tolerance.

Was he privy to any information before making the allegation? Was he even aware how plans are made for their evacuation or how the deal was negotiated and sealed?

do you believe the 'victim' had $40k on hand to pay the driver?
do you believe the drivers are the owners of the buses?

it is a shakedown. the drivers simply added their own. no dulling as we like to call it.

They claim they love and want progress for the country, yet they are fervently praying and anxiously waiting for dooms under coming administration.

APC supporters hated every single thing the PDP did. The same supporters who have suddenly become government sympathizers were the same people who could see nothing good in PDP and cried for change.

So I'm asking the government apologists now, WHAT CHANGED??

How did you go from constantly criticizing the government (which is a good and necessary thing to do) to becoming an apologist for one of the worst set of leaders ever to rule a country?
