I will like to say the match officials have been quite good and consistent. Except for few occasions his movements in the midfield have caused confusions in our midfield.

Two quick attempts by the Zambian. Coach need to make defensive change

Penalty Nigeria
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m):
Abubakar Abdullahi finally shows his class. Beautiful control, swift turn and mad drive towards the Zambian Goal. Was too much for the Zambian defender who just he was brought down in the Zambian box.

Penalty.

Why CAF will place four strong footballing nations like Nigeria, Zambia, Morocco & South Africa in the same group is what I really don't understand. They left Algeria with Somalia and Congo in the same group and Cameroon, South Sudan in the same group. This is wickedness

#11 Charles Agada in for #8 Abubakar Abdullahi.

Light Eke should have buried this game. Poor penalty it was.

Light Eke is a bright shinning star. He should not let the penalty miss get to him. He has loads of goals to score. He is a brilliant talent.

CAF has always been known for its dubious and nefarious activities. The amount of corruption in that organization is crazy.

Ugbade needs to work on the decision making of the boys. With right decision making, they can go far.

He should also work on them relying more on their passing to break defensive walls of the opposition.

Nduka Ugbade needs to improve with his substitution.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Curtisaxel10: 7:01pm On Apr 30, 2023
Ugbade has to up his game. The boys brought out their carpentry tools in the second half and yet he waited until 82 mins to make a sub. Notice how the Zambians became strong once their first sub was made.

Good showing from the boys, you can easily tell they're genuinely kids. Loved to see the good passing, beautiful transition plays and good awareness from the defence.

Nduka is doing well but he needs to make his subs more timely.

Currently?? The team hasn't even departed for Argentina yet. They depart by May 6.

Akinsanmiro Ebenezer will join them in Argentina by May 10-13 or so. He isn't with them yet.

I hope everything pans out well.

Golden Eaglets need to practice how to bury chances from open play. Goals from free kicks like they had in the WAFU) will not always come every time as we can see today.

his timing of making substitutions in this match was very poor...

the defenders were very tired and could no longer track the Zambian attackers runs and the defenders were just standing and ball watching and the coach was shouting "follow" "follow" totally ignorant of the fact that the defenders were very tired.
