Where is this donkey planning to charge them? And, secondly, I am 100% sure bills are overinflated. I am sure oga at the top presented a bil of, say, $500k for a bus worth $100k.

If industrial generator is used as a backup to recharge the buses then the purpose, which zero carbon emissions before 2060-is defeated.
humberjade:
Nice one

For your info, these buses would have strategic terminals where they are to be recharged. So it doesn't have anything to do with with the state of electricity in the country, an industrial generator is good enough to back up the electricity from the national grid.

So no cause for alarm, na maintenance come remain.

Is a welcome development, is just that Lagos or our people lack maintenance culture

Where is electricity to power and charge?
So OANDO, owned by Tinubus, is now into selling and managing molue buses? Or LASG awarded an inflated contract to their crony company. What is the value thar OANDo is offering without BAT influence?

Dude, All humans are corrupt. Even you. You dont know how corrupt you can be until you are given juicy position in Nigeria. Be optimistic. At least the project is done. Officially you can ride electric buses around. Enjoy the ride. Complain in your dream.

I see SW realizing the ideals of Awolowo in Tinubu' s administration.
The Igbos never know that among the blacks Yoruba no get rivals. We began to use television ahead of France. When the brown-in- roof houses they whine about were built, their forebears were living in caves and tree tops and thatched houses.

Last week the SW governors met to have regional electricity supply and rail system.
A similar project proposed under Obasanjo ( an electric rail system between Ibadan and Lagos by Oódua Group) was denied by Obasanjo.
Now our own is coming.

Lagos has lived up to expectation.
Despite the Abuja being the capital of Nigeria since 1991, it has struggled to gain clear cut advantage over lagos state as both City are still very competitive in development.
When I give kudos to the architecture of modern lagos(Asiwaju) , people would complain that its the federal capital in the past, meanwhile they've had 3 governors after the capital was moved to Abuja before Asiwaju yet none of them were seen to be credible enough to be given this accolades.
God bless Asiwaju and the lagos state governors who have set up standard of development.
Also God bless Baba tunde raji fashola.

Since Tinubu is the president, we'll see what he will do on a national scale. No point trying to campaign anymore.

development in any state is incumbent on the IGR of that state. Lagos has the highest IGR in Nigeria. My question to you now is: Do you think Igbos who dominate the major markets in Lagos plus the Apapa Terminal which is the highest revenue generator do not contribute to the development of Lagos Are you informed properly or speaking out of sheer envy??

Just so you know, the hopeless pigs (the chronic losers) will prefer things in Nigeria to fall apart in the next 8yrs. But the Almighty God will never answer their hateful prayers. As usual, they will be put to shame

Nigeria shall rise again and every one of us, great Nigerians will prosper in whatever we choose to do. And May God bless our President- Elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

thing I want from the Lagos government is a clean and beautiful city.

They should beautify all the sea side and waterside e.g along CMS, so people can sit, chill, do some fishing if possible.

They should beautify and clean the road side.

Build bigger drainage, covered ones. Not the open and dirty ones we see ( gutter)

Stable power supply

It's time to remove Agberos from the road, they should be inside motor pack

May be if the governors in the East stop drinking ogogoro and chasing small girls around, they will get to this point in 20 yrs time.

These people are known to lack leadership skills, common sense and strategies to take things to the next level.

Well, I am not a mouthpiece of the Lagos State government, I am sure they have means to power the said buses. Apart from the national grid, Lagos has its IPP, and in addition, solar is another clean way to generate power too.

So does that address your concern?

But they're touting it as cleaner for the city. How is it cleaner if you're just running diesel generators instead of diesel bus engines?
Lmao

Well, I am not a mouthpiece of the Lagos State government, I am sure they have means to power the said buses. Apart from the national grid, Lagos has its IPP, and in addition, solar is another clean way to generate power too. So it doesn't have to be generating plants so as not to defeat the emission control goal. Wind turbines is another means, but i don't think Nigeria has enough wind all year round to power them.

So does that address your concern?

All 🇨🇳 CHINESE electric buses. For those always asking what China has done for Africa.

Stop telling Nigerians what we already know about the Chinese!
-Can Chinese do anything for fun, especially, when we know it's 2nd- recolonisation?
-Can you tell us what was Coded in their Mandarin Language-in all the Railway agreements in Nigeria, that was signed by Amaechi- former Minister - especially, when those in National Assembly could not decode most of them, when they called him to their Chambers for defence of the Budgets! Till date ,mute is the word!
- it's shameful that even the National Assembly could not prune the Ministers on Budgets Mechanism but looked the other way and abandoned their responsibilities of serious oversights!
In America, where we copied this Constitution, none performance of a Ministry, means no Fund or Money can be allocated to be spent,no matter the pressures from Power from above!
Kosofe-in Chaina, failed the Agreements they signed with you, then they take over your Assets, including your Language and imposed their!
She main reasons they are yet to effect those Clauses is because, they can still see lots of Potential in Nigerian State!
-The Road -Belts -Project- Across -Africa,is a fluke on how to tame Africa and illegally harness her aboundant Resources, even though the African States is lacking these Infrastructures due to Corruption!

To the bitter bad belle people that have toxic questions

*How will it run without electricity?!

- Lagos bus, Lagos Rail, LASG Secetariat and Lagos Hospitals would all run on Independent Power Plant built by Tinubu off grid

*Will it run out of power?!

-No a BRT bus runs 200km daily, a fully charged electric Buss has a full capacity of 280km per 100% full charge

*Can we maintain the Busses

-Tinubu built BRT lane but Diesel metrol busses and since 2 decades it had grown remarkable to an Electric model.. EV busses have few parts that requires maintaining unlike Diesel busses.. I runs on Fast Charger Electric rotor,
What happens when there is traffic and it spends more time on the road?
