That is the summary of Nigeria and as I explained on the Arik topic this is the synopsis of our travels (no pun intended) since independence. That is the systematic wiping out of the middle class that has left Nigeria a feudal state for all intents and purposes. A country of stark have's and have-nots.

A country that cannot care for the bottom line, the dregs of society as much as they spend everything they have on the privileged. A country where government spends all its resources on civil servants and political office holders exclusively.

In Ebonyi's case the airport will end up being used by civil servants and politicians by and large. Unfortunately they do not constitute the majority so commercial success will not happen.

And that is why airlines in Nigeria like Arik will continue to live on borrowed time.
Which is next for the gallows... AirPeace?

Restructure Nigeria?.... they will not agree.
