My first time in Kano was during my service year (i went there to buy Nokia E5), my second time was in the course of my official assignment, i spent over 6 months. I have friends over there, i do go to Kano once in a while ok.

Please don't be deceived or swayed by our politicians, i have been with few of them. Kwankwaso and Ganduje issue is just their personal interest, they will definitely reconcile sonner or later while the masses will suffer the burnt of their parochial interest.

Increasing cost centers instead of revenue generating enterprises is not making progress. These four additional Emirates are cost/expense centers. Salaries of Emirs, guards, domestic staff , vehicles etc
For even Ganduje to mention the creation of these Emirates has brought development to them, is an admittance of failure on the part of
his government.

Nigeria and waste of resources goes hand in hand the emirate council is useless to the well being of its citizens in this time and age. Having 4 emirate council for one state is criminal and complete waste their existence is simply ceremonial and to preserve history which is not our priority even England has only one queen or king

The only "political class" that should be close to the people is the Local Government. Unfortunately, almost all the state have ruined the purpose of the local govt. Its only when Local govt are empowered that people can experience true development. Absolute waste of resources with Oba, Emir etc because its the govt that maintains them which is very unnecesary

It was nothing but a show of power from gandollar,the new Governor should address the situation.
