If you watched him at WafuB, he would already be scarring your nerves like he is doing mine. He's been a shadow of himself since this tournament began. He was fire at Wafu B.

COOL10:

The boy is getting on my nerves.

Marjoribanks:
Why remove Williams? He has been the best player in that attack! Remove Favour Daniel and put a second striker to support Abdullahi!
The number 15 guy in that midfield should be removed!
you mean the captain?

The game will end 1nil. The North African are one of the best football nations that knows how to manage a lead!
The coach subs shows he does not read the game. He already made the subs in his mind before the game!
The coach practically killed our attack with those silly subs!

Honestly the loss of that first choice midfield at the Wafu B has really affected the coordination of this team.

The midfield of Okere, Oyebanjo, Mbata/Okeke gave this team direction but in this team, we have just one very truly talented MF I can point to in Hope Linus but he cannot do it all from deep. And that's the guy Ugbade took out for #22 Adewale who is actually listed as a defender. Na wa.

These boys aren't even onside/offside-aware. How many offsides in this game alone? Abdullahi the major culprit.

That is why a team should have depth, the 2nd eleven should be almost as good as the first eleven.
Ugbade should have known that some players will definitely be ousted out due to MRI,he should have been prepared for that.

Well, at least they can see U17 no be moi moi. When Amunike did it and raised a team capable of navigating the Afcon and going on to win the WC in this MRI era, some in here talked it down as if it is some easy feat. Oya let us see Ugbade do same.

A great coach prepares for all eventualities.

Lawali is better in the midfield.

Abdullahi is a hard-working player but lacks football sense.

Linus if well managed can be another Mikel.

Lots of scoring opportunities wasted,Ugbade needs to fix this problem and get his midfield combo right.
Lols, you can't blame them as successes at this stage is what they are used to.
For me, Manu Garba team of 2013 is my favourite U17 team.

We may not even clinch the world cup ticket if we fail to take our chances.
I noticed that there is a huge gap in talent between the first team players and the subs.

I don't know how these coaches make their selections. Go to secondary schools in Ibadan and you will get 16 year old boys who can strike the ball to score. Training how to pass the ball but not how to strike the ball. Most of the important goals at WAFU came from free kicks that should have notify the coach of the deficiencies in his attack but no.

27 attempts (shots), 4 on target, 8 offsides. 8!!!! Chaaiiii... Ugbade, you have work ooo. What is this?

Bringing in Aondoakaa for Ogbabido. Is Aondoakaa a creative midfield driver??

Taking out Williams for Eke but leaving a profligate Abdullahi on the pitch!!! Habamana!!!

The worst is taking out our only truly cerebral Midfielder in Linus and Bringing in Adewale, who is actually listed as a defender but because for training, he does step overs. Seriously??

Ugbade having Okere/Okeke/Oyebanjo/Mbata was the cheat code he used to navigate the WafuB. They are not here and he is being exposed. Chaaaiiii...

Did Amuneke win the AFCON? So chill. He did not even qualify the under 20. So Siasia is still his master, right?

its so clear amunike is the boss. Mehn his team was a beauty to watch. I don't think i will watch these guys again. No football intelligence at all. Even their cluster passing I don't like it at all.

Ugbade is part of the problem. We posed more threats when we played short passes. But he had them throwing long nonsense all through.

Morocco's counter attacks in the second half made our midfield run out of steam as they had to run back and forth repeatedly. And yet, while the Moroccan coach used almost all his subs, Ugbade could only make one sub until 80 mins before making another single one.

Is it that Ugbade only picked 11 good players and sold the remaining slots to unfieldable carpenters?

We all know why Amuneke didn't qualify for the U20 AFCON. it's no secret. Even at that, they still lost by a fine Margin then.

the long balls makes no sense when you don’t hv a physically imposed striker upfront

This team is talented but they need to calm down and play their football. They were too hasty and ended up misplacing passes. Also, they tend to overdo sometimes. Simple pass to your free teammate is not in their talent bank, they must sha run enter traffic.
