Hmmmmm, the maintenance team need to answer some serious questions.

Hope they aren't using second hand tyres like one airline in Nigeria?

This aircraft will be grounded, what a huge loss because of some people's negligence
The aircraft is already grownded, abi did the Tyre not burst again?
Truth of the matter is that tyres can have issues. Even brand new tyres you buy for your car can fail. (Google British airways a380 Tyre failure at Heathrow from Hong Kong)
It could also be that the runway has potholes. Last time I landed at mm2, the aircraft landed on a pothole and we all felt it. Few months later the runway is currently closed for resurfacing.

Those are super high impact resistant kevlar , Kevlar is more resilient than steel. If stressed enough, steel strands can begin to break over time.Kevlar can stand up to flexing without self-destruction until it starts to wear out due to exposure.
It means second hand tires or over used and unserviceable tires

Just shy of 26 years in operation (First flight date is listed as 22/11/1997).

Then, it is an IFC (Identified Flying Coffin).
It requires an extremely strict maintenance culture to keep aircraft that age safe. Any plane that is about 30, for me, is not safe. I suspect the airline was started because they have access to the corridor of power to get any approval . . . it's their way. The tyre bursts are signs of old age and maintenance failure. Such airline must be avoided.

Thanks for the information, my friend.

The only thing known by this airline is that it is owned by a fulani man and was favored over other airlines due to obvious nepotism and corruption by the fulani republic of Nigeria.
Imagine the money paid to the airline by our wicked federal government when another airline with better aircrafts was ready to flow Nigerians from Sudan for free.

Why are Nigerians like this? Like we don't even care about life lost or not. These people just got saved and the Only thing you can type is this?

I used to noticed a trend;they can be talking about gun violence in America, and a typical Nigerian wilk still find a way to insert how they're suffering in Nigeria even when the discussion is nothing close to that. Why just why. Is it only us? Why can't we appreciate anything in this country other than crying, wailing and complaining

The commentator of the posted video really murdering the English language.

"The Tires actually busted while they were moving".
"Difficult to land properly while they were landing".
"Bring the stairways for them to come out through".

You for kuku just keep quiet and allow the video roll and be self explanatory.

This is not the time to thank God. This is the time to try to figure out why the fu,c.k this should happen!!!!! Nigerians and thanking God. God will not come down to maintain the aircrafts. An investigation needs to be done to see how this can happen. In the U.S they have the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) in Nigeria we have FAA. FAA should do something before crash land turns into real crash.

Thank God sha.

This just shows negligence on the part of the Airlines and maintenance crew.

Tires blowing out on an aircraft simply means they were not checked, & if they were not checked why & how on Earth did the pilot take off?? shocked shocked shocked

Aircraft tires need to be checked every 24hrs, especially

Forget about negligence, this can happened anywhere in the word, even the so called advance countries who we believe that they never take their mentainance also experience such. You people ahould atop all this black man mentality.
