Going at death defying speed, through lot of sharp turns and bends, under extreme weather conditions most times, any slightest mistake and you either end up as Suya or you're mortally wounded.

A very entertaining action-comedy flick that doesn't overstay its welcome. Seeing Nicolas Cage back and delivering the goods in mainstream-targeted projects just has me happy for the dude. The resurgence in his career has been nice to see and I hope he gets back to being a box office draw.

The exploration of an abusive codependent relationship, using Dracula and his familiar as a vehicle was rather well done. A balanced execution that can go absolutely bonkers when it needs to and still simmer down to deliver the emotional beats isn't really easy to pull off but Chris McKay does a pretty good job.

A pretty good watch for fans of Nicolas Cage, Count Dracula and dark humour.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3. (2023)


A perfect ode to peak MCU, devoid of any multiversal and quantumania madness!

This was everything i wanted it to be and much, much more, The most emotional rush i have felt for an MCU flick since Infinity War and Endgame whilst simultaneously being the funniest MCU flick ever.

My only fear was the writing of Gomora into this after the events of "Infinity war" (2018), and they quickly put those fears to a firm rest with some of the best CBM writing i have seen, it was too perfect.

It totally knocks all the rubbish MCU has been feeding us post Endgame...Nice casting, some great addition to an already great cast with a side surprise of a lovely Sylvester Stallone cameo,Perfect cinematography, delightful editing , incredible character design, not under duress VFX ( Yes, Antman and the quantum bla bla, I'm talking to you!), marvelous fight scenes and stupendously funny dialogues that the GOTG brand is well known for. The cherry on top was the soundtrack, I mean they had Florence+the machine "Dog Days are Over" playing at the end, and if you see the movie, you would know why that track was perfection for the narrative they were trying to tell.


James Gunn! You beautiful beautiful man 😍!, It's like he told Kevin Feige and his minions to leave the room, that he got this. He is an austute CBM maker, from the movie, you can see that he cares for each and every of these comic book characters and knows just the right mojo to bring them to live action. Left to me, i would say he should head both MCU and DCU together, he can! but Kevin Feige is stubborn.

It feels like the end for me, i don't think i care what MCU does next seeing this as I can't see them topping this in a long while.

But in the meantime, DCU is in good hands.


One of my most anticipated movie of the year and it didn't disappoint.....A solid, never been so sure...A+
