Yes I must ... especially if I am responding to a post that seems to be driven by hateful sentiments towards Yorubas which, almost exclusively, seems to emanate from Igbos here.

The fact is that Tinubu has a right to be insistent on a Southern Senate President as Buhari was insistent on a Northerner in Lawan.

Buhari had what he wanted to achieve and what he wanted to prevent others gaining. He therefore needed a Northerner as Senate President for that purpose.

Tinubu, unlike Buhari, has only what he wants all Nigerians to gain, I.e a restructured and meritocratically efficient nation, to work for.

Buhari outlawed restructuring outright and arrogantly deemed those agitating for it as "dangerous". It was a view he was uncompromising about and therefore needed a Senate President who can ensure it never happens. That is how Nigeria works.

With Tinubu it is the opposite. He wants Nigeria restructured asap and knows a Southern Senate President is best to help him gain this.

He cannot go with an Igbo candidate because all Igbos have shown themselves unworthy, disloyal and available for sale to the highest bidder. Tinubu has experienced Igbo ingratitude and disloyalty up close and personal with Kalu, Ngige etal.

SS stock has increased massively with the brave stance of Wike power must come South in contrast to the fence-sitting of Igbo leaders.

Why should Tinubu then reject the SS for any other zone in the South when the SW is disqualified and Igbos unworthy and unpredictable?

Why then condemn an alliance analytical logic upholds as very rational with the tag of "for their own personal and selfish interest"? What is selfish in Tinubu's action when the man has targets he does not wish to waste even a second achieving? With that in mind, let us examine all Igbos who qualify to be Senate President and name them.

I will then list factual woeful actions and inactions related to them that no one can deny disqualified them from being suitable candidate for the project Tinubu has in mind.

After that I will then expect you to explain how so many, from a single ethnic group, can be unfit with not even one hosting a history of progressive, principled and developmental participation in Politics.

In the end it will be clear to you that those who work with reality, fact and solid evidence have too many examples , through decades of our history, that damn Igbo leaders as parochial, petty, unprincipled and clannish.

We both contribute a lot to the federal from natural resources to internal generated revenue. We both stand for true federalism, resource control.
