He was the one that started creating factions in Osun PDP immediately after Adeleke lost at the SC in 2019.

He created his faction and even before the Primaries of 2022, he used his people to stall it. All the Courts in Ife, Ilesha, he used technicalities to try to force Adeleke out of the Primary.

Infact, he was given SW Zonal Chair as compensation but yet, he maintained that faction that culminated in the double postponement of the PDP adhoc Ward Primaries. From 2019 to when Adeleke won the Primary, was hell.

He probably died of a "broken heart" since Atiku lost at federal and Adeleke will not reason his side positively since he tried to frustrate his efforts and ambition.

Soji Adagunodo, the zonal vice chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the south-west, is dead.

Oladele Oluwabamiji, PDP’s director of media and publicity in Osun, confirmed the development to TheCable on Tuesday night.

TheCable gathered that Adagunodo died in the United States. Details of his death were not available at the time of this report.

Sources close to the family said Adagunodo had travelled to the US shortly after the general election for a routine medical checkup but has not returned since then.

Adagunodo, until his death, was PDP’s zonal-vice chairman and former chairman of the party in Osun state.

The late politician who hailed from Obokun LGA of Osun was also a former member of the state house of assembly.

What an irony of life? His party just reclaimed it's victory and he is no more to enjoy the fruit of his labour. May our portion not be this way. My condolences to his family

What difference did he make in Ilowa while he was a politician and elected Lawmaker? What is the state of healthcare infrastructure and public infrastructure generally in Ilowa. He falls sick and runs off to the U.S. for healthcare the shameless politicians fail to provide in the Nigerian society.
