Greetings all..since February this year..I have been battling with constant blocked nose, the blocked nose comes with dry mouth and ear fullness which always make me dizzy..I have tried many nasal spray(otrivin,Avamys).,but I'm not getting any positive result, I visited an ENT doctor last two weeks who recommended Avamys nasal spray..but no positive result.. How do I go about this please.

*Modified** Please I still need help on this..doctors are recommending turbinate reduction surgery as the only alternative, but I'm scared of the surgery...

Buy confo boil water to scalding degree then steam yourself up by covering yourself with a thick blanket for 10-15mins repeat the procedure for 10days. Always moisten your nose up with the same confo.
Although it's painful but trust me it's worth it,

Was they a particular diagnosis that made them place you on the prescription?
If yes, you simply have to go back to your consultant, complain about no changes, and they will change your medication.

If no primary diagnosis after the medical checkup, they you may have to go with suggestive tradition treatments.

I'm not in the medical field. My advice....... check nostrils .... press on one to keep it shut.... breathe in to find out if both are opened or clogged. Check for swelling at eyebrow . Do you experience headaches? .... eye pain? Add peppermint/ginger to water.... bring to boil .... put towel over heat... inhale steam.... twice three times a day if possible for like a week. Should have relief. Open mouth the widest... force self to yawn a few times.... should make a difference in the ear.

Air conditioners cool the air, while humidifiers add moisture. Nasal irrigation is flushing the nasal passages with saline solution. Nasal irrigation products are available at pharmacies.
