Lol... but you know say nah your back I deh boss. I honestly won't concern myself with stuffs like this, but I've seen lot of peeps fold on this hustle. How did ABC, the young and Co kept keeping on after all these years, while people come and go in transportation business. I am not saying Uber is the best thing, but when person promise to dress you up nicely, first look wetin em wear.

If he have advice to share, disrespecting other is not the best way to go about it. Everytime we talk done on this hustle, yet we wake and jump into the car. Are we under some kind of spell? I know the story of a man his wife borrowed money for him to get a car, he was doing good, don't know what pushed him to a business, he start seeing some change. Next he sell the car and delve fully into the business. Today he is sitting with the wife at her shop. All effort gone.

The so called Felicity after all his ups and downs, with his advice. What is he doing today? Tell him to come out honestly with receipts. Set awon Dangote adviser. Who even in his right sense sells land (properties) for car (valuables)? I honestly won't lay back and watch someone that can't pay house rent rain insults on my via proxy or not.

If doesn't succeed in things he put his hands on, shouldnt be enough reason to generalise.

And to the other folks. Driving is technical, it goes way beyond jumping into the car and moving Lagos aimlessly.
bless u pope

This bonus should be nothing less than 10k. Now they are reducing it. This guy's don't rate their drivers at all.

You are lucky I was offered a bonus of 2.5k to chase 11 trips, with lagos traffic congestion and flooded roads. So an investor that just acquires a grade A tokunbo car of N3million plus will be hunting for 11 trios just to pocket N3k bonus with IMF conditionalities attached... I dont even think they know how much ella's cashew nuts is selling..

Sometimes you just don't need there yeye bonus. Don't let the bonus be that motivating factor.
All ehalling are out there to use and extort all us.

If I have 3million na ehaling I go invest in? Haha. For 3k bonus?
Best is to use the lowest vechile as threshold to make money rather than buy a high spec cos with your corrolla 2012 and Corolla 2000. Na same kudi una all they make.

Bro. You have any idea how much they are selling double cell radiator for Toyota Camry (Big Daddy) 03/04 model. Both New and Toks I need to compare prices.
The last time I checked, 30k for new one (around mid last year), I don't know the current market price.
I don't know about the price of toks and I won't advise you opt for it anyway, except you're trying to minimize cost.
Much respect, boss.

Rookies and the gurus.. A reminder.

Please, 🙏 avoid working late into the night. The risks always outweigh the rewards.
A colleague's car Toyota corrolla was hijacked at gun point last Friday @ 12pm midnight around lekki conservation centre, ( that dark path leading to Olusesi road via orchid.. He responded to a Bolt trip going to Abraham adesanya.

The victim is still receiving drip at the hospital, according to him, the guys even fired a shot at him...thank God for his life.

Forget driver score o, remember your loved ones, Bolt will not stop making money if (God forbid) something tragic happens to your enemy. Don't allow any stupid app to cause pain for your loved ones.

Let's be guided.

Bros,. It's presently 2k. I had to pack the car at home and just rest. Make I spend this time brush up my training. These guy's will ruin someone future.

I saw someone's post here days ago, about the drudgery with e-hailing coys. I've been checking my dashboard and the funds in my acct. The only thing I can explain is the commission bolt charges. It tells a lot. Especially for someone who controls hundreds of thousands/million's before, soon you'll know this is not for you.

The way I see people also running to embrace hp. I'm really sad...no one should be going through this on a daily for this kind of treatment. Am certain If bolt jack up the comm to 40%, people go still dey rush am.

I pray for safety for everyone on the road and may we not work in vain.

Night hustle is not for everyone. There's more to it than just driving aimlessly. For the past two months now I've only been working at night except a rider books for offline.

I see drivers in their Corolla Park anywhere, sleeping and I begin to wonder if they know whats at stake.

Couple of nights ago, I parked in front of Brassars place at Admiralty way, (one thing about me, I always park in a Get-Away position) So I saw this Aboki guy park a bicycle behind my car, I was observing him from the mirror. I got a request from Olubunmi Owa, so I reversed to enter that street, I saw the Aboki, standing beside one corolla, the driver slept off on the trunk, the moment I passed him, from the mirror I saw the guy pack the drivers sandal, hopped onto his bicycle and cycled away. I pursued him with Reverse but he quickly crossed over to the other lane and ran off. I went to the driver, it took me hitting him severally before he woke up.

Now Imagine someone like that, if he's car keys where in sight, anybody can easily push him off and steal his car.

That Olusesi Conservation road, I always see some guys lurking around the entrance of the LCC, sometimes they call you when you drive by with your windows down, I pay them no attention and always at alert.

Normal, na God they save man but make we they add smartness and street join. One guy too, should be less than 25yrs from his look, parked his very sharp looking corolla in the middle of Lekki Epe express way, before Ikate traffic light and was looking under the car, in the middle of the express at 2am, with engine running. I had no rider, so slowed down, asked him what's up. He said he's hearing one sound, I told him, you could drive down to Folixx, get a safe spot and check!

If they collect that guy car now, he go be like say them do am bad.

Do you think that 30k - 40k will be consistent?

Do you know much it cost to maintain and service car nowadays?

Do you know how much they sell engine oil nowadays?

Are you aware of 25% Commission Uber charge drivers per trip?

Do you how much fuel is selling per litre now compare to 5years ago I started the business

Do u know how much vulcanizer is collecting to inflate tyre now?

Are you aware of how many Uber cars that are snatched and stolen everyday.

Do think is easy to get honest and reliable driver that will deliver 40k consistently?

Are you aware of police, lastma, road safety, vio and tout extortion of drivers earnings on daily basis?

Do you know many drivers that are involved in road accident everyday and their cars damaged beyond repair?

I can go on and on.

But let me stop here

A lot bro. You should find out, if you don't know. Seun BBQ at Abule oja junction makes far far more than that a day! My friend who owns a bar/restaurant at Moore Road, off University Road, makes far more than that a day. Chowdeck and other delivery bikes comes to pick food steady at his place.
These are businesses you can start with the 1.5m someone wants to use to buy car for uber.

You might want to ask why I'm still running Lagos upandan......I don't have to tell you my plans.

This biz don cast. Na just to keep body and soul, no be to hammer

The businesses you listed if not managed by the owners will still have stories.
So the point is every business has it flaws and not failure proof.

My question still remains.
With all you have listed above
Are there no driver on rental or HP remitting 30k - 40k weekly consistently.

I know people still doing well in this business.

Some of the points you listed are not daily or weekly occurrences.

Someone want to invest 7m to get 2 cars for Uber/bolt. So definitely he will be putting them on rental or HP. He will get drivers to drive the cars and make delivery. My point is are there no drivers still making delivery of 30k - 40k weekly consistently.

Because all I see on this group lately is people saying the business is no go area for investors.
