Politicians are stealing billions, yahoo boys are stealing millions but non of them have been sentenced to death.

Then, someone who stole sandals was sentenced to death.

I don't support crime but this judgement is a big crime itself.

In the Nigerian penal code,armed robbery carries the death sentence. That is what we have been using since the military days

They were sentenced for armed robbery. Forget about the sensational headline, armed robbery will get you a death sentence for obvious reasons. Anyone that confronts you with arms can "mistakenly" kill you too... though the judge would have been more lenient. Make them appeal the judgement

Our judges should not allow masses to revolt against some of their judgment. Those that stole because they don't have what to eat were given death sentence. But when it come to our so called leaders who stole billions, they will set them free, not that they not guilty, but on a technical ground. God the impartial judge is watching, who will also judge you according to His righteous judgment.
