He's not started work yet cuz he had to run another tb blood test, please should he be weary? He's been waiting and the result seem to be taking forever. Anyone with this experience?

If he doesn’t get cleared by occupational health he cnt start. He should chase the result with his employer/health department for the result

You posted weeks ago about your employer issuing a maintenance letter to you and as well ticking YES for the maintenance part on the COS. Does it not cover Accommodation for you?. I'm asking cos my Employer ticked Yes for me and I am not budgeting for AirBnB so I can prepare for unforeseen circumstances.

Lol. Your eye go soon clear after u get the visa. The 1 month maintenance those company always write on cos is for visa formality sake so that una no go provide aza statement. No accomo kankan anywhere o . U must get ur own akomo. If not. Yanga go gas o . Get enough money for accomo, and know say , u might stay in airbnb for months sef, as these LL no dey look uche face with the demand of 3 month Bank Statements, and payslips. B4 them go give u house unless ure favored here or u get family wey fit use there own name collect house for u and the likes o.

And to my bro and sisters coming as Healthcare workers. Abeg, hold house rent wey fit carry u for like 2 months o. Cos the work start date wey u see for ur cos is not feasible at all cos by the time they start with documentations, DBS, training. It might be a month after o . And u won't be able to work in other sectors aside health and same health people would not even take u cos they will ask if u have atleast 4 month experience in the UK. And if u say because of money ,u wan go work for warehouse , Nah till end of 5years wey u wan get ilr una go understand wetin befall you.

Furthermore, One thing again it's better if ur wife is the carer and u the husband br the dependants. Than for the man to be the carer. A woman no fit enter factory or warehouse sharp sharp start work unlike a man wey fit start work within one week of entering as a dependant. It's easier for the man to bail out the lady cos the man can work anywhere or go for the fastest job here (warehouse/factory worker) with that, The man fit dey use the salary pay rent and sort other things wey family go need pending when the wife go start work as a carer here. But a situation where husband is the carer and main applicant. And wife come join body . Its always a bit tight for them for the first 1 to 3 months unless they bring enough rent wey fit cater for them for like 2 to 3 months excluding Airbnb money o.

Make i drop pen here tonight. Some other time. We go continue from where I stopped. Ire o.

The maintenance letter was meant for visa application alone.we have been informed earlier that we will sort out our accomodation by ourselves. But you can ask your employer if they will provide accomodation for you

Honestly their is no much for concern here everyone should travel before the expiry date given to main applicant. That visa on your passport us just for entry and entry be needed while in the uk only biometric card you need. But raise your concern at Port of entry ask immigration officer why your son vignette is 5 years if you wish. It can only be issue if it was written 2022 and the child can't fly. If you start to return anything all of you may miss your travel date or leave the child behind
