I've been there and Gombe is even more beautiful than what you see in pix.

Some of these northern states that doesn't have a drop of oil with very small IGR and federal allocations are far developed the the over hyped Niger Delta states with huge IGR and federal allocations.

If the north has gotten oil in commercial quantities like the Niger Delta states, the north would have been transformed to Dubai.

What a serene environment!

It is good development but most of this beautiful things are only done in the state capital leaving other areas undeveloped.
