Many killed and many burnt alive in Awgbu by Unknown Gunmen terrorising Orumba/Anaocha axis of Anambra State……

According to eyewitness, many were killed while many were burnt alive by unknown gunmen who attacked Eke Awgbu market square yesterday night being 18th May 2023.

In eyewitness account, unknown gunmen were accosted by Agulu local security guards for terrorising their environs and were caught in Awgbu where the angry mobs dealt with the unknown gun attackers in Eke Awgbu square.

Unknown to Awgbu community, another set of unknown gunmen returned at about 9pm yesterday 18th May 2023 to raze down the market burning people alive in their shops while also opening fire on individuals killing many and many sustained injuries without any repel from security forces.

This incident have thrown the community into darkness and mourning.
