There's nothing wrong with it.
It's the suspension design for more stability.
Same with CRV and MDX.
I'm not sure if anything can be done to it unless you want to rework the suspension system.
How would you call an abnormally excessive toe in suspension normal?

Thank you so much. I don't have any shifting issues, car shifts up and down fine.. There's just this occasion high rev when it wants to shift sometimes.

I'll try to replace the transmission mount.

2 months AGO, I replaced the dirty fluid with total MVLV.
At the bolded, is there a specific gear change sequence that this issue usually occurs? Like during the 1 - 2, 2 - 3 change etc? Any malfunction codes?

Total fluid is okay as a temporary replacement for dw1. Did your Mech remember to service/clean the oil pickup screens in your transmission solenoids at the same time while changing the oil?

I am recently having same issue with my Honda pilot...when changing from gear 1 to 2, it suddenly jerks as it was being rammed into ...and I noticed d movement was heavy only for me to see d D light blinking. So I took it to my mechanic to check with computer and it came out with P70 code ..can't remember the exact code but from d error code...it said d gear oil is either light or needs to be changed.

Change all your knuckle bushings on that side. Some are bad.

Change out the knuckles themselves with tokumbo or new replacements if you can.

Hope you’ve changed it already with the correct type recommended.

It’s no longer Z1, that’s old fluid, it’s now ATF-DW1 and fakes abound in the market.

Contact luvinhubby here for original cans. You will need 5 Liters for a change.

No malfunction code related to transmission at least from my obd2 scanner. I only have o2 sensor code and ecm pcm relay errors. The issue is mostly from 2 - 3,but it happens spontaneously.

You should have transmission related codes stored on your ecu. Most of these regular Bluetooth scanners can’t pick them up. You’d need a high end scan tool. Did your D green light flash at any time?

But I suspect a solenoid is dirty. You need to know the exact one to clean up hence the scan but I’d wager it’s the AB solenoid (big switch)

Get a scan

Read the manual again. It’s like you’re mistaken.

I realised I've never seen Mobil 5w20 oil being sold at any Mobil filling station.
Had to ask them. The guy said he has never even seen it at their depot where they buy all the oils from.

Hoping I haven't been buying fake all these time

Has anyone bought Mobil 1 5w20 in a Mobil filling station?

If you cleaned the solenoid well then get a scan.

If any code pop up for the same shift solenoid then you should replace it.

I have checked.
What is written in that your manual is that you should use ATF-Z1 on your gearbox and use a good DEXTRON III as a temporary alternative.

Since Honda’s ATF-Z1 has been discontinued you are now to use the newer ATF-DW1in its place.

Look for original ATF-DW1, any other one you use will be detrimental to your transmission and its longevity.

Mobil petrol stations here don’t stock 5w20 grade oils. Do you buy yours from a branded mobil petrol station?

Never bought one from a Mobil filling station. Why do they not stock it? Would have been a guarantee one is buying the real.

If authorised dealers (Mobil filling stations) are not selling, how are we sure we're not buying fakes.

The mobil oils you see in their petrol stations are the type specified mainly for the African and Middle East markets. In these two regions their climate doesn’t require the 5w20 weight and vehicles produced in these regions tend to spec the 5w40 weight instead.

Any original 5w20 mobil oil seen in Nigeria must have been imported from either Europe or America.

Good evening Engineers and Bosses.

My Honda city 2006 model have been battling with Nozzle, Fuel Pump and plugs issues due to hard starting issues since last month.

The car have been experiencing Hard starting lately and when mechanics check, they say it's the plugs that it's overfloating and the nozzle isn't good.

So I was told to replace the fuel pump and nozzle, I had already replaced the Plugs 28th February this year, So I replaced the fuel pump twice within a week, the first one worked for 3 days and then I got another one both are V8 fuel pumps though the car is V4 cylinder ( which was the last type of fuel pump I used and it lasted 6months before I had this issue, though not the exact brand of the V8 pump).

But just less than 3 weeks I am experiencing the same hard starting again and it started when I didn't start the car for between 18 -20hours of no usage last week.

I had bought Original GPower Plugs at ₦7,000 for the 4 pieces, this February, but now the Hard Starting seems worse than the 3 times I experienced it last month after I took it to a mechanic yesterday. The plugs and nozzles were cleaned yet the car isn't firing well even when it starts, it takes time to cold run smoothly.

Please what can be done to remedy the issues. I have used the same car for over 18 months with no single record of hard starting before now though was using a 4 cylinder fuel pump initially before switching to a V8 fuel pump after the last 4 cylinder fuel pump had issues and I was advertised by Rewires that V8 will be better for the car and correct some of the issues I was having when I start the car in the mornings and when I am climbing the hilly bad road to my house slowly on my way back home.

Have you scanned this car? Or mechanic will tell you buy this part, buy that part and you will buy?

Take your vehicle through a diagnostic process that’s first thing first. Secondly get a professional to have it fixed. What has a v8 fuel pump got to do with an i4 engine

I just changed the pump and the fuel filter 20th April.

I scanned with the OBD II Bluetooth
Scanner already, it didn't bring out any fault code.
