Let's grow up. One man's comment cannot make the UK change her immigration laws. These Indian folks in power have been talking about cutting migration for more than a year now.
So because immigration ĺaws are independent of his thoughts, he should be pat on the back for granting an interview expressing needless thoughts...

I'm sure one idiot I met sometime last year at a forum is listening and reading these!

After the Session, at the kitchen everyone was eating, talking and praising their country men & country, me.... I was just sitting in a corner Minding my coffee & brochette, silently cursing politicians like Tinubu, Buhari, GEJ, for not having the balls like Lew Kwa Yu to develop Nigeria, such that I now have to always drink coffee and stupid low calorie foods all on the name of abroad.....lo

Hear this idiot from south west telling everyone how Nigeria is this, how Nigeria is that, how everyone should be careful about this Nigeria, how everyone is into yahoo etc, everyone became silent until one sweet bitch asked him again where he is from?

The idiot retorted "Nigeria".

All eyes went to where I'm sitting, like WTF is wrong with this Nigerian dude! I'm sure he's not aware I'm a Nigerian cos I simply keep to myself & parole! You don't know who envies you and your success.

If I don't tell you I'm a Nigerian, you won't know, as I have managed to build up some kinky accent like an American. The bitch asked me to comment on what the guy said.

Well, after a polite, impartial analysis of how some unfortunate idiots try to destroy themselves just to get attention, the monkey.... Ohhh Yes, the motherfucker actually looked like one, with his shaggy hair, telltale tribal marks, big Boots, chains, glasses, etc (dressing like a mad man, more like low class yahoo drop out, isn't a style dress of techies, mind you), he was so ashamed of himself that day and through out the conference!

You never hear the Muslim Indians disparage the Hindu Indian in a conference.

Snitching is hereditary shaaaa!

That's the problem we have as Africans, an Indian will never open his mouth wide and give out this such information, the reason they are advancing more in that society than Africans, they'll rather help themselves, with information that will help them exploit the system. However the truth be told, the new crop of immigrants to the UK in the last one year are some bunch of weirdos, lot of them uncouth, unrefined, Noisy, lousy and appear haggard. They would have made it better if they can comport themselves, rather they bring in that crude ways here, even in public places, they can't just learn to adjust.
Most of them are usually Yorubas(unfortunately)-------makes so much noise everywhere, library, inside bus, shopping mall etc. Nothing stops people from coming here but at least, let us act calm and classy once in a while.

It is only the unsuspecting and naive set of people would believe it was actually his interview that gave wings to the recent ban on dependants.

UK had it all planned out already and they can't claim not to know that's the escape route of Nigerians, Indians and Pakistan only that Nigerians can be very uncoordinated.

They should stop bashing him and people should brace up and hug the development. Perhaps, it's an avenue to look else where. UK sef isn't gold.
There are other good nations.

This is the downside of wanting to be popular

I blame Nigerian government for putting us in these woes

You said the truth... that is the problem...if the federal government had provide good goverance and make the economy and country to be good and better, developed the country..reduce poverty hunger hardship unemployment inflation, insecurity, high costs of living, improve the education sector and universities and make them better with quality education... nigerians will not Japa to UK for education or greener pastures...let developed our own country...God has blessed nigeria with a lot of petroleum resources, mineral resources and many other things...but corruption and bad goverance will not allow this country to be better...

You will never know the Indians don't even love themselves that much, because of the caste system, but once they step out of their shores........they bond like soldier ants. An Indian will rather assist the other Indian he consider trashy based on their society values, than look the way of a Nigerian once. You can't say that about us, always ready to talk trash about ourselves in the presence of other people. Personally as a full blown proud Afrocentric individual, i used to look my professors in the eye and speak of Africa with so much pride, because if you allow them, they will make it look like as if nothing good can come from us.

Him on tribal basis

Bro, do you know what they call icing on the cake, his interview was the icing on the cake
If they wanted to reconsider or skeptical on the whole thing, that interview will seal the fate of the reconsideration, if he had made a different comment Supporting Nigeria coming to UK, I bet an opposition would have used to it for his favour and for many Africans

The politicians are Nigerians, most of them were once ordinary Nigerians. Nigeria is what it is because of THE PEOPLE of Nigeria. The evidence is right here on this thread, where people are castigating someone who told the TRUTH.

Nigeria is going to remain in poverty for a long time to come because Nigerians are an unreasonable people.

Good Luck to Nigerians.

Half truth is a lie. Some people are there genuinely for the school.

I sincerely don't understand why Nigerians HATE to hear the truth and HATE anyone who speaks the truth.

I just don't get it. It's a very destructive mindset, to hate the truth instead of learning and adjusting to it.

And of course Nigerians love and embrace lies - like " there is nothing like fuel subsidy" or "fuel subsidy doesn't exist".

In this particular matter, Mr Tiamiyu told the truth that Nigerians are abusing UK academic visas. If that's the case, there's no need to criticize the person who just said the truth. All he did was say what everyone knows is happening. The data is there to support his statements. Haba, the comments here make it seem he would be worthy of your praise if he LIED in public, on a BBC interview. Come on!

No surprise that Nigerians have run down their own country to the point it's the official Poverty Capital of the world.

Nigerians, we have to do better, things can't go on like this. It just can't. sad Nobody with a desire to do what is right can feel safe among Nigerians.

Good Luck to Nigeria!

We all know the truth but it’s not in his place to say it his he Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Uk didn’t complain either as it’s a legal and legitimate route to the uK and a better life why go to Uk and go spoil the same route you pass into that same country
