as a family man with 3 pos shops which I personally manage one myself. now, pos don dey cast, two among the three shops are closed presently.. idan no even understand what next to do aje.
9ja too hard abeg

In the one you are presently managing, look for some good products that can have high sales and stock them if the place is an enclosed store.

With this, you will not depend on only the POS business while using the same space.

Both. I love both. I have been doing both sideway for now. Though, I sold my crop farm later because of time. The farm manager was cheating me. But I still keep some animals in my compound.
wow. Nice. I'm really interested in farming, especially animals.. but not having a piece of land is a big disadvantage

How e go be if remote cast?

I've been slowly setting up a low key VOIP telephony business. Facing huge resistance from Naija businesses as they don't see the value and prefer to use mobile phones over a centralized telephony system. In spite of the resistance, I'm still pushing. Got two customers and running all the infrastructure from my home office at the moment to keep costs low

Assuming, I did have one. I will always exchange a small but reasonable amount of my salary into USD.

It's not a wise thing to do. Rather look for what will make you earn in dollars

Save some money, get a good car thank God for Uber and bolt. At least to feed wouldn't be a problem.

This question is deep. Quick confession, the first bulk earnings I made from remote work went back to my family. I was astonished by the windfall and set out to change those things I didn't like. It was by Nov2022 I realised I hadn't saved enough in comparison to my earnings and I began to reason well. Black tax was a problem too. I cut out excessive black tax in Feb 2023.

The plan is to save enough for a long term investment. I am still undecided on which business, but I would most likely go for the one I have passion for - food or interior design and consultation. I have never considered remote work failing. There is always 9-5 for us. We would however struggle to adjust to the daily turnup and poor pay.

I know these things are relative, but can you give a little insight into your personal perspective of "Poor Pay".?

Personally,
I've just been aggressive with investments, with hope for future returns., as I feel it offers lesser risks as compared to outrightly staring a business in this harsh nigerian economy.
