larride:But that case is not what supreme court ruled over today. Na PDP case supreme court rule over, not the election petition. |

izzou:Sowore nko Anyway, if what NNPP is alleging is true(that their logo was omitted from the ballot), they have good grounds to go to court. They said they decided not to go because they are students of history and they know no court has ever removed a sitting president. I agree with them ![]() |

BlueRayDick:Since we know what the judgement will be at the end of the case, there's no point. That's where I stand. This reminds me of the conversation we had about spoilers in movies. If the outcome of an event is known, there's really nothing to look forward to. |

raumdeuter:The SC has knocked off the PDP case against Tinubu. It's a bitter sweet taste because if PDP succeeded, Atiku would be sworn in. That's something I equally do not want. So it's OK. One bullet dodged. I hope say you go travel down for the handover party on Monday? |

Theflint1:I just hope you're not part of those who argued that the last election is the worst we've had. If you are, it invalidates everything you have just written here. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Spy360(m): 11:41am On May 26, 2023 |
larride:The issue of double nomination is a genuine reason for disqualification, but there are technicalities. The PDP suit is a pre-election one. That makes it lack locus standi. The case in the tribunal is post-election petition. As a post-election petition they have the locus standi to institute it as a ground to disqualify APC. Just to clarify, before the election, only someone who contested the primaries can institute such a case. After the election, only someone that took part in the election can institute the case. Don't think PDP are stupid for going all the way to SC. They want to know all the technicalities involved so that it can be used in the PEPT. So as it stands now, the only defense the APC has over this matter is the jurisdictions to hear the case. If that is all, then there fire on the mountain because they have to look for other defense at the tribunal. |

izzou:I don't blame her for voicing outcry against it. Social media has helped a lot of people in distress. Maybe she felt this issue needed a public outcry. One can rationalise that. |

Are we in a miliatry regime where people cannot voice out their disagreement with actions of state actors ? Nigeria police be doing the most lately https://www.instagram.com/p/Csrb4uZtSVM/?igshid=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ== |

Itsrm:You can have good policies in place, but if they're sabotaged from within and without, they fail, and these failures are feedback that things can be improved still. Policies regarding election conduct in Nigeria have improved, but so too have strategies for sabotaging elections. |

Soludo’s appeal@izzou Omo Soludo is literally saying he will stand surety for Kanu o. Like he wants to be his "oniduro" so he can have peace in his state and the entire region. I wonder what Soludo supporters will make of this |

BlueRayDick:Even me sef nor know wetin to make of am. Coz the what if's too much. Okay what if Simon ekpa doesn't stop. What if it turns out that the killings take a different dimension with a different justification from the bastards? What also happens to the innocent people that have been killed because of this IPOB matter? How do they get any form of justice? |

BlueRayDick:You no see as dem dey avoid the thread like water water shiit on top Apongbon bridge When it is time to blame Obi for IPOB, the 2017 interview comes to mind Now, their prospective Igbo president is literally begging and ready to surety a terrorist leader group, but but..... Spy360:There are enough Nigerians for the handover, the over 8m Nigerians who voted Tinubu are ready to celebrate his handover, they dont need anyone to travel down to witness it BTW which channel is showing Obidients crying live? izzou:Lol, they're unlooking but observing, and taking notes, in the hopes of wearing Soludo the IPOB-sympathizer robe if he ever comes out to contest in the future. Soludo is far from being a populist politician, and that's refreshing, taking a position of this nature when it's become unpopular to ask for any form of clemency for IPOB is bold. I dunno how the "repentant" Boko Haram members analogy applies to Nnamdi Kanu though, is Nnamdi Kanu also "repentant"? And is he or Simon Ekpa in control of IPOB? |

izzou: BlueRayDick:Soludo inherited a terrible security situation which is making governance impossible for him given how Obi and co encouraged IPOB into the monster they currently are Soludo is simply trying to make the best of a bad situation he inherited. When YarAdua administration gave amnesty to MEND militants, People like GEJ acted as surety for MEND yet he wasnt the one who created MEND just to make his regime smooth One of the ways to stop IPOB is for Obi to tell his boys to stop all misbehavior but since Obi does not want to do that for political gains, Soludo is seeking another option because at the end of the day, he was the one who made a promise to Anambra to provide good governance |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by OasisX: 1:54pm On May 26, 2023 |
izzou: ![]() Bruh.... no one is avoiding anything nah. Some of us already said it here that we hope PBAT will release Nnamdi Kanu for peace sake in the East, especially in Anambra. |

izzou:It's actually funny reading how passionate Soludo sounded in the letter ; like he's ready to risk it all .I remember reading earlier this month when he threatened to cut the salary of workers who decided to obey the sit-at-home order. All that hardman talks just flew out of the window with this Soludo letter. |

raumdeuter:Kanu was in Kenya when IPOB was slaughtering people. So a better option is to release him? What is the guarantee that the killings will stop? ![]() |

OasisX:Listen to yourself, my brother. Kanu was not even in detention when IPOB was sharing blood everywhere, but you want him released for peace sake. The same statement Obi made in 2017, and you trolled him with, is what you are justifying in 2023. Una love for Nigeria get as e be |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 2:02pm On May 26, 2023 |
izzou:He was encouraging his people to kill when he was in UK, Kenya, His people continued killing after he was jailed There is no guarantee to anything, Its a gamble that Soludo is making to appeal to the killers Even in the US, deadly terrorists have been released or negotiated with for the sake of peace even if its temporary Recently a notorious Russian arms dealer was released for Brittany Griner, Is there a guarantee that he wont return to his arms dealing and killing people? When you are desperate, you seek any option even if there is only 5% chance |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 2:05pm On May 26, 2023 |
izzou:In 2017 Obi was not the governor, yet he declared and absolved IPOB he said IPOB was not a terror organization that they live around him and he knows them Soludo acknowledges that IPOB and Kanu are the direct cause of the insecurity in his state and he is caling the madman the bridegroom if that will give Anambrans a breathing space to live their lives |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 2:05pm On May 26, 2023 |
raumdeuter:You are typing long long story, my brother. ![]() If you release him, and the killings continue, what happens next? ![]() Or maybe, your beloved Soludo could even be the one behind the killings, and is probably trying to get his revered soldier back. This could be an option |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 2:06pm On May 26, 2023 |
raumdeuter:It definitely means Soludo is not as intelligent as we thought He probably may be the patron of IPOB. He should be under surveillance |
