We are guaranteed, runners up no matter what happens. Using head to head we have beaten Italy. Italy cannot finish above us no matter the outcome on Saturday.

What if Brazil beat us and Italy beat Dominican Republic? All 3 would be on 6 points. Italy beat Brazil, Nigeria beat Italy, Brazil beat us.

In any case, goal difference is what would be used in this tournament. So if above happens, it will be
Brazil, then Nigeria or Italy in second depending on goal difference.

I believe team B can get a draw.
Some will never be involved in this tournament again so I’m sure they’d try to play like it’s a final

He’s better than other forwards this season when it comes to aerial balls

Bundisliga is rated three in Europe but Werder Bremen is romancing relegation and is on the lower level of the Bundisliga.

I could talk about club Finances and there would be no comparison. In reality Werder Bremen should be compared to the upper level clubs of the Championship not any club in the EPL.

Nonetheless, I'll make it very easy for you , with a screenshot of the team selection in a recent match. Examinine the players and tell me two players that will get into Everton from Werder Bremen please ❓

And I can give you 10 players from Everton that will walk straight into Werder Bremen, without question.

J'attend votre réponse
if Bremen is romancing relegation then Everton and westham are making love to relegation

More Update on Victor Eletu

Courtesy: ANS.

Allele Celestine who handles the affairs of the Flying Eagles number 10, brought cheering news, saying that the midfielder underwent light training on Thursday and it's up to the coach to decide whether or not to use him against the Brazilians on Saturday.

Allele assured again and again that Eletu did not sustain a major injury and was only suffering from muscle cramps.

"Victor Eletu has fully recovered from his injury scare in yesterday's match"

"In terms of fitness and health he is okay, he was suffering from muscle cramps because of the hectic season. Supposed to be resting but playing in a very competitive tournament and the games are played in high humidity.

"He has started running, had light training today and will be resuming training with the squad on Friday.

"He may be rested for the game against Brazil in order to be fully fit and recharged for the knockout rounds."

Italy will need to beat Dom by 5 at most to be above us on table by GD. We need to not lose. That's why that Dom 2-1 dey vex me. That was a game we suppose win by 5-0. Mtchew.

But i believe the boys are gingered right now to win Brazil. Na only Forwards Brazil get. We dominate the middle easily. We need to be super clinical and avoid mistakes in Italy game cos if Brazil score....

A piece from a major Liverpool fan site on Daniel Daga

Patient Liverpool transfer strategy should target future Jürgen Klopp star after maestro display

There's an exciting young midfielder at the U20 World Cup catching the eye for Nigeria who could be an ideal star for Liverpool and Jürgen Klopp in the future.
By Ben Bocsak

The U20 FIFA World Cup has returned for the first time in four years, the last iteration having been shelved due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Considering this is the tournament where four years ago Erling Haaland and Darwin Núñez first made their mark on the global stage — and where, further back, the likes of Lionel Messi and Diego Maradona broke onto the scene — Liverpool should keep a close eye on the tournament.

As always there is plenty of talent on show and plenty of teams that have been out to impress. One of the biggest surprise packages so far has been Nigeria. The team who qualified after finishing third at the U20 AFCON this year has so far beaten both Italy and the Dominican Republic, and currently tops its group above U20 South American champions, Brazil.

At the heart of Nigeria's midfield has been the second-youngest player at the tournament, Daniel Daga, who should be on Liverpool's radar.

The 16-year-old is a holding midfielder who dominated the midfield against a star-studded Italian team with players like Tommaso Baldanzi — who is a Serie A regular — and Cesare Casadei, who is at Chelsea and was signed for big money, and also caught the eye against Brazil in the first game. But neither Italian had any joy against Nigeria and that was largely down to Daga's presence in midfield.

A really dynamic and composed player, Daga is already impressive physically despite his age but he also reads the game really intelligently and has the composure on the ball to really control the midfield. Those attributes would make him fit like a glove in this Liverpool team, which needs someone of his ilk to control and dictate games.

The midfielder has so far been ever-present in the Nigerian team at the tournament, and he was unlucky not to feature more at the U20 AFCON earlier this year. Having started the first game, Daga produced an excellent display, making 12 recoveries and four interceptions in just 43 minutes against eventual champion Senegal, but was then forced off the pitch due to injury, and had to miss the rest of the tournament.

One of the best things about him is that he uses his body really well in possession and is relatively pressure-resistant. That was obvious against Senegal as well, with Daga completing 22 out of his 23 passes in the short time he spent on the pitch. But it's been a recurrent theme at this tournament as well.

The way he covers the ground and has energy and the speed over long distances makes him overall a really exciting midfield prospect and one whose hard-working style could resonate with Klopp's system at Liverpool.

He only turned 16 years old in January, having been born in 2007, so it's a little while until he could even qualify to join Liverpool due to FIFA rules preventing the transfer of U18 players from overseas.

However, the fact that he has already made it to such a prestigious tournament and has done so well should alert the club's attention already.

Liverpool's scouts have watched Nigeria at youth tournaments before. Taiwo Awoniyi was signed on the back of success at an U17 and U20 World Cup, before going onto do well in the Bundesliga and the Premier League.

Nigeria has clearly been a hotbed for elite footballers. The list of stars to have lit up the footballing world from the country is endless, and it seems like this new generation is no exception. Therefore, Liverpool would be smart to make a move for Daga in the future, or even strike a pre-agreement on the back of this tournament.

FOR THE FLYING EAGLES TO PLACE THIRD: THE BRAZIL U20 TEAM MUST BEAT THEM BY A 3-0 MARGIN WHILE ITALY DEFEATS DOMINICAN REPUBLIC BY ANY SCORE LINE.
FOR THE FLYING EAGLES TO PLACE SECOND: THE BRAZIL U20 TEAM MUST BEAT THEM BY A 2-0 MARGIN IRRESPECTIVE OF THE OUTCOME OF THE ITALY v DOMINICAN REPUBLIC GAME.
FOR THE FLYING EAGLES TO PLACE 1ST THEY MUST NOT LOSE BY MORE THAN 1-0 MARGIN TO BRAZIL AS A WORST POSSIBLE OUTCOME.
IN ALL THE PERMUTATIONS NIGERIA HAS ALREADY QUALIFIED BECAUSE UZBEKISTAN'S GROUP AND SENEGAL'S GROUP MAY HAVE A THIRD PLACED WHOSE MAXIMUM POINTS CAN ONLY BE 4POINTS AND NIGERIA ALREADY HAS 6POINTS

V.O. is an excellent player but him making a mockery of EPL defenders is not going to be easy.

I can say the enigma that is Haaland has done it, but they are two different types of players. I expect him to get a minimum of 15 goals for Manchester United or Newcastle.

Which Chelsea defender is better than Tomori. The pictures I posted was the amount of times Oshimen faced an EPL team and destroyed them when it matter most. I gave you more references/citations, but you are holding on to a single inconsequential match. You are delusional if you think those quacks will stop Oshimen. lol! The same Liverpool he single-handedly destroyed in 45 minutes of a must win match or which other Liverpool are you talking about? He even decided to miss a penalty out of pity. lol

Absolutely wrong.
Let me cite 1 group instance involving Nigeria in USA 94.
IN USA 94 GROUP D
Argentina v Greece (4:0)
Nigeria v Bulgaria (3:0)
Argentina v Nigeria (2:1)
Bulgaria v Greece (4:0)
Argentina v Bulgaria (0:2)
Nigeria v Greece (2:0)
Nigeria,Argentina and Bulgaria ended all on 6points. The matches against the bottom team Greece were not considered in the placement rather the matches between the 3 equally placed points teams was used so Nigeria placed 1st on 4 goals scored and 2conceded
Bulgaria placed 2nd on 2goals scored and 3conceded because they beat Argentina and Argentina placed 3rd on 2goals scored and 3conceded.
