Good morning/afternoon/evening nairalanders.I'm typing with tears in my eyes and sorrow in my heart.This past few weeks have been fire for fire for me and my families which I decided to keep to myself but my kids are not as strong as me.Please guys.Am a member of naira land but had to create this new account due to shame. If I was your president , I would through nnpc acquire 50 filling stations minimum in every city even if it's 6 months lease agreement

Secure tankers that can service them even tho it's 6 months lease

Store enough fuel that would service them for 3 months minimum with an order for another 6 months worth of fuel

The remove subsidy use those filling stations to kick start the market forces

But na you and your president are socialist and don't care about market forces smh

Don't walk upside down. He didn't say he stopped it yesterday. No provision made for it in the budget beyond June 2023.
The ones they are hoarding were subsided.

Buhari removed subsidy. House of Assembly has signed the budget and it is not in Junes budget. It is not going to get paid.

Tinubu reiterated that it's gone. The marketers are aware, since last year. National assembly will have to sign a new budget if we want it back.


Don't make excuses for thieves creating an artificial scarcity for greed. Nothing is stopping them from selling today and carry on selling everyday till the price goes up. They must be forced to sell. Availability matters, no matter the price.

PS - Subsidy is a socialist/communist policy. Capitalism is market forces setting price.
