Let's say you are into this same fuel business and you normally buy 50lits for #10k. And after retailing for maybe #250per a litre, you will make about #12500. Now, you just bought your 50lits yesterday and today you're told that the same 50lits is now being sold for #30k. How possible will it be for you to still sell at your "normal" price to be able to restock?

Why I'm against the announcement was because it was suppose to be down by end of june,not when the marketers are still being paid fuel subsidy till end of June. They are just taking advantage of the announcement. Do you want to tell me they were not aware that fuel subsidy will end by june?

Well folks what we are hearing is that the new official price of pms in Nigeria is N537.

The NNPC has said it can no longer bear the burdens of subsidy and their gas stations are beginning this morning to adjust their meters.

Everything na President fault. Dem kill your fowl chop, na President, you slip fall for gutter, na President, your wife born triplets for hard economy, na President. How the Bleep most of you comprehend shit is so bizarre and eccentric. Nigerians are the problem of Nigeria, everybody trying to take advantage of the next person, greed and self centerdness has become the order of the day. What we are hearing this morning in Abuja is that the NNPC has begun to adjust prices. N537.

Let us wait for clarity before casting aspersions. The government should act because there is official news and unofficial news. And the owners of these retail outlets are not children but powerful individuals who have their ears to the ground. They act on fact.
