On the removal of subsidy, I urge us to listen to the President's inaugural speech, he didn't say he removed subsidy, rather he said, “from the budget I have inherited from my Predecessor, President Muhammadu Buhari, there was no provision for subsidy... So, Subsidy is gone".

Please get the fact straight, there are many cans of worm especially in the oil & gas that will be exposed now that Jagaban is President.

The Buhari led administration have set a time bomb for the newly sworn in government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu that require distinct policy decisions making and execution of such policies...

God bless The President
God bless Nigerians
God bless Nigeria...
Great Nation Bad Leaders.

Peope like me are the reason you can use internet
Bloody socialist

Market forces don't care about your emotions , Humans would take advantage of anything to give themselves an edge as long as there is no consequence

If I was your president , I would through nnpc acquire 50 filling stations minimum in every city even if it's 6 months lease agreement

Secure tankers that can service them even tho it's 6 months lease

Store enough fuel that would service them for 3 months minimum with an order for another 6 months worth of fuel

The remove subsidy use those filling stations to kick start the market forces

But na you and your president are socialist and don't care about market forces smh
Then what happens after the 3 months?
The effects will still set in from grèèdy foIks like u.
It's not market fórcès, it's grèèdy folks like u not market fórcès.
I used a Mobile network called Mtel in a phone called Nokia 3310.
Do u even know Mtel?
How old were u then?
Do u own Airtel, because I use their internet services.
It's the other way round, people like us are the reason u cañ àffórd a meal.
Is it not same u guys dràggîñg people to the kiosks u sell ur phones just so he can patronize u?
U come online as one of the inconsequential mûIé in a long chain of service provision and think that "people like me are the reason u can use phone, people like me are the reason u are can àffórd internet".
If people Iikè u don't exist, those services will be better.

Removing fuel subsidy isn’t a bad idea but you ought to make plans and provisions before that

Them swear you in you just carry pampers for nyash to announce subsidy removal without improving electricity and waiting on una dangote to dispatch enough petroleum

Now fuel here is N800 this morning with long queue

Almost 80% of fuel stations don close just to hoard fuel and sell at higher prices

I wish fuel can hit 5k w liter so that APC will join us and suffer it together

Thank God there’s no special filling station for APC supporters

Barely 4hrs to your swear in Nigerians don dey suffer

See plenty pedestrians on the road waiting on bus and keke to go work

Stupid cocaine ambassador
shameless bigot! After deceiving yourself and your likes that Tinubu won't be swear in, all the events you predicted that were going happen, none happened and you still have the gut to type nonsense here again. Take time to reflex on yourself so that bitter won't just kill you.

You have started again, has American president come here for medication? stop comparing your nonsense with America
Nigeria is a capitalist country like America, governments don’t own industries or refineries or cement factory or chicken farm.

Same way we all condemned Government establishing farm for fulani herdsmen which should be a private venture driven venture.

Government should only make policies and have civil servants.

We have plenty billionaires, let them stop building hotel and build refinery.

IamANigerianMan:

Continue to defend ineptive and nonsense , what does it cost government to build ten modular refineries before removed the so call subsdy if it exist.

Build refineries? We are surrounded by countries that have no single refinery or crude oil. They only import fuel and sell products at 5oo per liter. The refinery will only make our own costs cheaper than our surrounding countries.

I am actually happy the subsidy removal was announced abruptly. The marketers should start competing immediately & not waiting for riots to bail them. No company should be able to sit down and just get $1billion alert from government as subsidy, even before selling any product.
The new budget should use that money for free education or reduce costs for normal nigerians by reducing farmers costs or sthn so foodstuff doesnt get too high.

GEJ was right. Everyone dt resisted it till the subsidy got this big was wrong.

It is not the top leadership that is Nigerias problem .it is we the citizenry the entire society. Subsidy payment ends June. Not may, the marketers are so greedy. At the end of the day, we start chastising our leaders, we have forgot that leaders are a mirror of the society, when you point a finger to your fellow man, the rest points back at you.

So what impact does "fuel subsidy is gone" has on the fuel in their stations presently?
Does it mean fuel stations have to pay the next subsidy?
People with mindset Iike urs are a criticaI probIem to the Society.
Mind u any góvèrñment can thrèàten any business and cIose it down if they want and the so called business man will do nothing about it.
They all decided to close fuel station with the aim to hike price and u think they are in their right?
The mode of doing business is the reason people suffèr so much in Nigèria.

Ok go and close all the filling stations.
You lots have started defending rubbish like you did under buhari.

A man that has just been sworn in with no cabinet or appointees, not even sure of allegiance from heads of parastatals is making pronouncement on a sensitive issue like subsidy and you think that the market will not react?

He is about to learn a hard lesson on stakeholder consultation

See no matter who wins I don't have a problem. I told a die hard APC supporter here to go and add value to himself and increase his capacity to make more money.

Tinubu and obi are not aware of your existence. You better double your hustle and face reality.
Campaign is over its time to face reality. Right from eagle square your small demi god has thrown the entire nation into confusion and unfortunately for you there is no separate market or filling station for APC zombies grin grin

Unfórtunately for u, nobody makes a demigod out of a politician except Obi's followers.
I can't remember asking u for money, did I?
I doñ't remember asking u for advice on money either, did I?
When una don see one small change now, the next thing is to go about advising people who can buy u and the little change in ur account.
