Exodus 13:19
[19]And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him: for he had straitly sworn the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you; and ye shall carry up my bones away hence with you.
I don't know if you believe the bible or not but Moses intending to take a corpse along with him out of Egypt to the promise land is never considered idolatry by God. You know why? He never gave the worship due to God to the corpse. He only esteem the corpse as an ancestor. It's not different from from touching the dead in awe and praying as they're doing in the picture.
Yes, people can worship objects unknowingly by giving it the reverence and time that only God deserves but coming to conclusion that some people are idolaters for performing some rites that you don't believe in does not speak good.
Reverencing (worshipping ) your parents as special people does not translate to idolatry. You're only playing semantics!.

Worship in it's entirety suggest you are in constant communication with something you place value on... Touching of the dead or visiting a suspected saint is something an opportuned catholic does religiously.

Ive read it, and i didn't see them worshipping the bones or praying to the bones. That's how u guys go around misinterpreting the scripture. Did moses carried Joseph bones with him so they can worship it or pray to the bones? Go and read Heb 11:22. It was Joseph wish that his bones must not remain in Egypt cause he knows Egypt is not his land. He made them swear to carry his bones along with them and Bury it at scheme, and not to worship it or pray to his bones or gather to adore it. But to bury it at shechem Moses knowing fully well that it won't be easy to carry a coffen in the wilderness instead, he choose to carry the bones cause it was lighter enough. Did they gather around to touch the bones? Did they gather around to worship it or pray to it? Try dey read scriptures with understanding or better still let the Holy ghost guide u. Stop trying to back ur doctrine with scriptures that doesn't match.

Omo don't mind that dummy. He's trying hard justify his modern idol worshipping but misinterpreting the scriptures. My people perish because of lack of understanding. Joseph ask them to worship his bones or did he ask them to gather and pray to his bones? He simple ask them not to allow his bones in Egypt, cause he was aware that is not his land and God will take the Israelite out of Egypt. He wanted to go with them even in death. So made them swear they will take his bones and Bury it in shechem which was his fathers land.

Carry a dead from Egypt with the intention of bringing it to the promise land is not different from what these people are doing here. There's no value that a dead man add to them . Don't be hypocritical.

Ur a religious fanatic, an Anglo and already brain wash with a dogma doctrine. No matter how hard I try to lead u to the side of righteousness, u won't follow. I asked u a simple question from the same chapter u quote. Show me where it is written that the Israelites bow down, touched, kissed and prayed to the remains of Joseph bones. All of a sudden u came up with an assumption. No ask ur self where is the correlation of carrying bones and worshipping a mummy?
