Prominent Nigerians Who Aren't Igbos Speak Up Against Igbo Hatred In Nigeria - V by franchasofficia: 2:46pm On Jun 04, 2023
It is no longer news that in Nigeria, a particular tribe seems to receive the most hateful and disapproval from other Nigerian tribes, and guess the tribe? It is the ever resilient tribe known as the Igbos.

The only thing that unites every other Nigerian tribe in Nigerian politics is the hatred against Igbos. Once you want to rally Hausa, Fulani Yorubas, Kanuri, etc tribes, just come up with a consensus against the Igbos and all the above named tribes will wholeheartedly come to agreement, but when it comes to progressive thoughts and issues of national development, these tribes will never agree or sincerely work together to develop Nigeria, but once it involves hating on Igbos or working against Igbo politically, these tribes will never have a single disagreement and as a neutral observer, you maybe wondering why this is so?

Sit back and watch some prominent Nigerians from other tribes who aren't Igbos confess how the hatred against Igbos started even before the independence.

It will shock you to hear how other tribes have unjustly ganged up against Igbos based on false information, propaganda and twisted histories.

The origin of the Igbo hatred in Nigeria as explained by prominent Nigerians that are not from Igbo tribe:

Many honest Nigerians that are not Igbos can boldly attest to the fact that individually, they have no single case against the Igbos but right from their individual homes while growing up, their parents, uncles and even grandparents once told them forged stories of how bad Igbos were even before they themselves met an Igbo person they already developed total hatred for anybody from the Igbo tribe.

Dont be dumb,sir.
Nobody hates the Igbos. It is just a delusion.
Okay,do South Africans hate Igbos?
Do Ghanaians hate Igbos?
Do the Asians hate Igbos?
Maybe all of these people just dislike Igbos because of some negativities.
If I think most people dislike me,then I will look towards myself and change for the better.

Did you know that when slave trade started in Africa, Whitemen preferred slaves from Igbo tribe more than any other tribe in Africa?

Did you know that whitemen told slave merchants that they were ready to pay double or triple the price just to get a slave from the Igbo tribe?

Before you join your tribesmen and women to hate on Igbos that did nothing personally to you, please try and study the Igbo people personally.

Igbo amakas really need to change their behaviors to gain positive recommendation from other tribes in Nigeria.

Give Igbo man 1 inch, he will claim the rest and chase you out.

Personally, I don't blv anyone hated Igbos.
And if there's any Igbo that feel so, more investigation is needed into how it all started. Matters aren't taken from the top but the base. Wetin cause the hate?
Those Igbos that feel they hate then need to widen their knowledge about Nigerian history. They need to know the begining of certain trends. People like Chimamanda always avoid Jan 1966 issue.
That BB Nija Pere didn't see anything with Igbos that has bullied people online. Especially those that are neutral in this concluded election.
Pere wasn't born in January 1966 but he can't phantom the history. He should read about how Azikiwe antagonized another southerner for presidential slot that he knew he can't win.
Don't dish what you can't take.
You can't say anything contrary on LIB and mobs won't come after you. Even Indians chop hate when they published items on Tinubu.
Me sef, they ll misunderstand me.
Anyone wey sha know say his/her mouth no fine to cry should not near me. I ll remind you how dog ate your placenta from a baby factory!
Try me!

Nigerians by now should have realized that an igboman is the only solution they have to attain meaningful development.

Unfortunately they have always chosen to prolong their suffering.

The recent format of Igbos now is to be passing their message by acting as non-Igbos. You’ll be hearing I’m not Igbo, but..

Nonsense. Igbos are hatred inclined. They’re the last people that can form victim. So carry una ipob propaganda commot for here. They won’t help anything..

You can’t be showing me hatred & be expecting love in return!

Yes o. We all saw how one man said God will not allow an Ebonyi man to hold political office in Enugu.

Ebonyi people are disliked by other ibos, then they have the OSU issue as well.

They need to work on themselves first.

This woman is economical with the truth. We all know how the ibos dominated the North civil service and taunted northerners before and after the coup that took out Amhadu Bello, tafawa Balewa, Akintola and other non-ibo leaders. That's the origin of the Ibo dislike in Nigeria.

Your people can take a lesson or two in humility and not being boastful. Reduce your crimes outside Nigeria as well. The crime is the origin of the dislike outside Nigeria.

No region will hand power over to you on a platter of gold. You contest for it by building solid relationships with other regions and collaboration. Nsobu nsobu politics won't make an Ibo man the Nigerian president.

I guess being slaves is something to be proud of. That's because the Ibo men and women were comfortable being slaves unlike the other tribes that would fight and revolt against their captors. grin grin grin

The Nigerian military swore to defend the constitution of Nigeria. I am also sure you know that it was Azikiwe out of greed ensured that the secession clause was NOT included in the constitution despite Awolowo and Amhadu Bello supporting the secession clause to be added.

An average Nigerian civilian will be happy for your tribe to leave. The embarrassment your brethren are bringing to Nigeria outside the country is too much.

Talking about confusion. You want to be president of Nigeria today, but tomorrow you want to be Biafra. No confusion greater than that grin

As they loudly hate Yoruba and Fulani. No one is hearing it anymore. I’m still wondering how they managed to victimize themselves against Yoruba. They call Yoruba people cowards demons slaves. Blame Yoruba for their dumb war with the north. But because Yoruba have stood strong they hate that. They hate that they can’t bring us down to their level
